I have tried many products trying to get rid of razor burn. So far this is the best I have found after at least 10-15 different brands and decade of experimenting. Normally I can't shave my neck more then once every 3-4 days, meaning I'm usually scruffy. With this I can shave every 2 days now if I choose. Sadly I still can't shave daily like most men because I suppose my skin in that area is just ridiculously sensitive, gets irritated, and I get the hideous red bumps making me look like a teenager with acne. Either way this product is great. The warming hot feel from the shaving gel, and then the cooling aftershave feels nice/fun and smells refreshing. I'd highly recommend this is you get razor burn easily like me. Bonus is since it is clear its less messy then foam gels and works better.

This set is okay.I do quite like the shaving gel. At first I did not feel it heat, but as I kept applying (warm water and lathered with brush) I slowly started to feel it heat up. While it did not really lather a lot, it was still easy to apply evenly and the warmth was quite pleasant once my skin had adjusted to it. The shave itself was very smooth, my razor glided nicely along my face and neck with no irritation or nicks.However, I am not so crazy about the after shave. It does sufficiently cool and does balance out the shaving cream quite well. But my goodness does it stink. I'm unsure if I would purchase again based on the smell alone, as it smells very chemical and plastic like.Overall 6/10. Shaves well, doesn't lather than great and tools nicely, but smells terrible.

The shaving gel is absolutely horrible. It never got anywhere near warm, let alone hot. It also didn't perform well during the shave. I eventually rinsed it off and used my regular shaving soap with some hot water, my brush, and my scuttle. I would give the gel a negative rating of I could. The aftershave is freaking AWESOME. It provides a nice cooling sensation that lasts for about 30 minutes after application. I shave my head and face so this feels like a nice cool breeze and leaves my face feeling refreshed after each shave. I would give 5 Stars for the aftershave but the shaving gel is sooo bad, it kills the review!

So I stopped shaving years ago and just have been using a trimmer to keep a stubble. But recently, I decided it looked better if I cleaned up around it with a razor. I started with disposable razors that left me with some nasty bumps on my neck. So I finally decided to get a straight razor and some of this product. I am so happy with it. The warming effect and the ease that the razor glides with the gel, is wonderful. My favorite part is the aftershave. First, it smells lovely and it gives you a nice cooling effect. Since then, no more bumps and actually look forward to shaving. Will be buying this again for sure.

My son says this gives him a great shave really opens up pores to get at those whiskers and then the cold closes them up-refreshing? His skin is super smooth afterwards. He get skin care and a close shave :-)
