Rhode Island NoveltyFlashing Led Bumpy Rings, Set of 12

Ordered these for my 3 year old daughter who saw them at a 4th of July fireworks show and loved them. They are sturdy little rings made of a nice thick, flexible rubber material. The only issue I (and some others) have had is that they won't all work when you get them. When I opened my box, one of the rings was dimly flashing which meant that it likely had been flashing for quite some time already. Out of the 12, there was the one which was on its last flashing legs and then 3 others which didn't work at all so ended up right in the trash. I am guessing the buttons are being hit either during packing or transit so all the other rings are having a little rave in there while they wait to reach their destination. There are 3 pink, 3 green, 3 purple and 3 blue and they are nice and bright and pretty durable. I took the one star off because of the fact that some of their batteries will likely be deceased when you get them. So, if you're having a party for 8 or more kids and want these as party favors -- definitely order two boxes to make sure you've got enough. All things considered, they're not all that pricey and your kids will likely get more enjoyment out of them than they do out of things you've gotten them which were far more expensive.

Great little toy rings. Have one, it stopped blinking after a bump, repaired it, just ordered 24 more. Where else can you get hours of fun for 50 cents each. The repair was easy. I cut a straight 1/2 inch slit into the ball from the ring side and popped out the two small parts inside: A small circuit board and a much smaller push on/push off switch with TWO rubbery legs. The fix is to make sure the TWO legs are fully seated into the TWO holes. A small needle nose pliers or tweezers should work fine. The last step is to push the assembly back in, through the slit, so the round button, top of the on/off switch is facing the slit from the inside. FYI There are three small batteries stacked on the circuit board. Forget buying replacement batteries, too expensive. Just buy more than you need repair the ones that don't blink and have fun! Also, the material is strong and stretchy. The slit stretched open and didn't get longer. Update 17SEP14 my order for 24 toy rings arrived today from coolglow.com, good packaging and every one flashed on my first press and turned off on my second press. Honestly, I expected a couple to not blink. I'm a very happy customer. Six Stars!!!

I first purchased these to hand out to guests at my son's, wedding. Big hit!Walking the dog in the evening at dusk is a good time to wear.I have passed them out to friends and family during fireworks, or cookouts.The best was when, I had two boxes full in my purse and, just started passing them out to folks at a concert performed by,K.C. and The Sunshine Band.Many, Many SMILES!!!

These rings were a perfect addition to party favors for my daughter's 8th Birthday Luau party. It's nice because you can turn them off to save battery when you don't need them to be flashing. All the kids loved them! The rings were my daughter's favorite. I bought everything from Amazon & because they came in bulks, it was cheaper than going to the Dollar Tree & paying $1 per item. And it was all delivered to my home! Gotta love Amazon.com!

I expected about 10 to work and 2 to fail.When I opened the package and tested, it looked like that exactly. 10 functioning, one extremely dull like the battery was nearly depleted, and one not functioning. On further investigation, that one had the switch upside down and activated from below rather than above. So 11 bright blinky rings out of 12 was a high success rate.The fit perfect for about a size 7 - they'll stretch to the 95th percentile in fat finger. Pretty small for skinny little kid fingers; but you can clip them to jackets and belt loops and pony tails. My purpose was to put a beacon on my kids in a crowd; so I didn't care if the ring fit. I can attach in other ways.I expected 3 each of 4 colors. I got 4, 4, 2, and 2. Not exactly even, but still acceptable.Overall satisfaction; a solid 4-star purchase.

Fun. Blinky. Multiple light colors in each ring (no matter what the ring color itself is). Last a while, except for a couple that die out more quickly. The works are all completely enclosed in the gel stuff, so no way to get at the batteries to replace them; on the other hand, short of tearing the things apart, you also won't have kids taking out the smaller pieces.Great for adults too. The ring is stretchy, so easy to fit on most finger sizes. Lately, I wear one as a hair elastic for visibility when I walk at night. They are REALLY bright.Ever since we got some to hand out at Halloween, my toddler is addicted. This is the "nuke" in our appeasement arsenal. I considered taking it on the plane next time we travel, but I think the lights are bright enough to be a nuisance in that setting.

Bought these to hand out as party favors! They work great and last a nice amount of time 👍🏻 Super stretchy!

Received this today i was hoping they would make awesome stocking stuffers for the kids but only two of the twelve rings worked.
