This was so easy to put on. It didn't make a mess, it didn't drip on the floor. It didn't stain my shower curtain. When I rinsed it out. It was so easy to apply. The color was so vibrant and actually covered all my silver hair! The only downfall with this is it only lasts a few weeks. But at the same time since it only lasts a few weeks, I can play with the colors and know that they won't stay long if I don't like them. It's very easy to mix from the large bottle and I would definitely say it's a good value for the cost and size. My hair is very soft. After applying both the color and the conditioner. It's definitely worth the cost!

I wore my hair partially gray for the last 5 years. I recently decided I wanted to find some temporary color for my hair to shake my life up a little. After researching a few products, I settle on this one because it was natural, easy to use and will wash out. What I wasn’t expecting was the incredible results. Yes, it’s extremely easy to use, which is so my speed, but only 4 out of 50 coworkers noticed my hair change. This was such a natural and beautiful change, they can’t put their finger on what’s happened. It has covered up ALL the gray, and the person that did notice wanted to know where I went to my hair done. She was stunned I did it myself. It has been about a month and the color is still great, but when it does start to fade, I’ll redo my hair. There is so much shampoo left, I will be able to do this over and over again. And when I run out, I’ll buy some more. I highly recommend to anyone wanting a natural and healthy way to add some beautiful color to your hair.

Was pleasantly surprised with how well this worked for being a shampoo. I was hesitant to buy because it was almost three times what I pay for box hair dye. After using this, I think I have for at least four or more touch ups which is a great value for the money. I did spill some on my sink and tiled floors and after wiping, it left a reddish residue which came right up with Clorox cleaner. I just did it so can’t comment on how long it lasts but I can say it was way easier than box dye and the color is great!! Oh, and it did NOT stain my head, arms or ears. Came right off during the wash. Another huge plus. Highly recommend. See before, during and after pictures.

I’m torn between a 2 and a 4 star. I loved the dark brown cuz it covered my stubborn greys ( I have been using the product for a while and apply to roots) , but I wanted a shade slightly lighter afterwards to try something new. However, when I ordered one color slightly lighter (coffee brown) it didn’t cover the greys at all ( I even let it grow out a good 1.5 -2 inches to make sure I can see the new color pull thru, however it ended up being too light of a color overall for my taste and it wasn’t the color on the box or listing (much lighter). So I ended up mixing the lighter color with the darker color (1 pump light, 2 pumps dark). Which covered the grey and got the color I wanted that matched what was suppose to be the coffee brown color. So overall the fact that the light shade didn’t cover grey like it said it would in the listing, and not matching the color it shows on the box or listing, and having to use 2 colors to try to match the color I originally wanted of the lighter color that is shown on the lighter color box/listing I would give it a 2 star. But I like the product if I use both colors together. So if I’m using this still I would have to give it a 4 star for that purpose alone. So just know lighter color does not cover stubborn grey or if you have a lot of grey.

I had been growing my "sparkles" out for about 5 years and thought I was happy with my decision. I am 50 years old, and over the summer, I was mistaken for my 40 year old friends mother. It was right then that I decided I needed to start coloring my hair again, but I wasnt ready to go permanent or spend a lot of money on salon service. So I purchased this hair color depositing shampoo after doing research and reading many reviews. I was hesitant about selecting a color without knowing how it would turn out, but I finally decided on Auburn, and it turned out fantastic. It was easy for me to apply, I waited 20 minutes then rinsed it out and followed with the conditioner. The color is great, and my sparkles now look like natural highlights while the rest of my hair is shiny and healthy looking/feeling. I've re-applied the color every two or three weeks as my hair has grown out and the color has faded, but im sure I could go longer before its very noticeable. I've used the shampoo on my medium length hair 4 or 5 times now and still have plenty left out of my first bottle. Way more economical than going to a salon for color. I do recommend this product.

Let me preface this by saying that I have been coloring and highlighting my hair at home for years. My gray grows in about every 2 weeks and the time it takes to color my hair, not to mention the damage that has become the norm for me, has had me searching for a better and easier solution for quite some time. When I saw this product and read the reviews, I really thought it might be the solution I was looking for. My hair is a dark ash blonde, so I chose the the linen product. I'll admit I was very nervous about trying it but I was hopeful. I finally tried it four days ago. As much as I wanted to love it, it didn't measure up like I had hoped. First off, people say it's not messy but I found it to be very messy. It's not a thick gel like consistency but is more runny, and it seemed to run out of my hand when I pumped the bottle. It looked VERY orange when I put it on my hair, which was quite concerning, because I naturally have a lot of red undertones and I was afraid of what might be to come if it picked up on those undertones. Many reviews said it was so easy to use, but it really wasn't to me. It doesn't lather like normal shampoo. I found it very difficult to get it everywhere on my scalp that might be sprouting grays. It didn't seem to cover very well. It did irritate my skin just a little bit as it sat, but not as much as box dye. I applied it to my roots the best I could and tried to pull it through the ends of my hair but it seemed to be absorbing very unevenly which made it difficult to evenly coat my hair. The bottle says to let it sit or 10-15 minutes but 25 minutes for stubborn grays, so that's what I did. I rinsed it out in the shower and used the conditioner that came with it. When I got out of the shower, I could immediately tell, even though my hair was wet, that it was too dark. As I blew dry my hair, it became more and more apparent that not only was the color much darker than I was hoping, but that it covered very unevenly and was very flat and dull looking. My hair didn't have any natural highlights or undertones. It was almost black. It stained my skin on my forehead and ears very badly. Much more so than box dye. Four days later and the skin on my forehead is still stained. I ended up having to pull my hair through a cap at home and try to highlight it to bring it back to my natural color as much as possible, but it is still much too dark due to the base tone from this product. It might work okay if you have minimal grays throughout your head or if you are used to a one tone hair color. Unfortunately for me, it wasn't the miracle solution I was hoping for.

Excellent procuct! I have been searching for over a year now for a new hair style or color. I found it! This shampoo is so easy to use. I really didn't want to commit to a permanent hair color especially going this drastic. I tested it before using to make sure there were no issues. I then washed my hair with a clarifying shampoo. I followed the instructions for the coloring. The conditioner made my hair silky smooth like doll hair. It was a little to silky for me because it was hard to style at first so I let my hair set for two days before trying to style it. Smells great and did not stain my skin. The pictures show me going from grey to total Dark Brown. I waited the three weeks to take a picture to show how long the color would last on my hair. Totally recommend this easy to use product. On to my touch up!!

This color comes in a pump that has two wells you need to mix the clear and color together before applying. It is runny like a shampoo, which makes application a little messy (I am used to cream dyes). The smell is very mild compared to the permanent dyes I typically use. I have a lot of grey, this dye does cover it in about 20 minutes like the packaging indicates. My 1st try was a bit patchy(1st picture). The color nearly completely faded in 4 washes see second set of pictures. My second try is the last set of pictures. I bought purple and with my very Grey hair it's a bit pink in the sun and bright light. Would give more stars if it was not so runny and if it stayed longer. It took about 16 pumps to fully saturate my hair but it is very long, the shampoo does suds on dry hair. So far clean up has been easy, it will leave a dim circle of color after wiping away on counters but a little soap set for a minute and it wipes up well. Does not stain my scalp or ears, you can see in pictures right after dying my part is white not purple.
