There are obviously more IDIOTS out there than even I thought? I read all of the reviews before I made my purchase but might just as well have not wasted my time in doing so? Not a good board finish? Flimsy inside? Different shaped pieces? Cost £47 is this guy real? Discolouration of some pieces? Poor cardboard packaging, what? Let me give you a real and positive review about this product. I ordered it with the longest delivery date to avoid the postage, it was to arrive between the 3rd and 5th, of January, no problem as it was not a Christmas present. It arrived Christmas eve morning the 24th, December 2016 at 11am, perfect although not expected, so well done the supplier. Having read all of the previous reviews (at the time all 9 of them) I scrutinised the board before opening it to reveal the pieces, it was perfect, very good joints, hinges, surface, corners and catches etc. The pieces were identical in size, colour etc. The green cardboard box the set was in was strong and well presented, who cares about the box you through away as long as the item inside is OK and ours was perfect. For under £30 you can not go wrong, looking forward to our first game. Anybody looking for a chess set at a very reasonable price, do not hesitate to purchase this one. Ignore the IDIOTS they just like making a fuss over nothing in the hope of a full refund, just like some passengers on a cruise liner?

It's basically a travel version of the Staunton Tournament 5 Board and Pieces for under $80/us. Presently, that's a good deal and the set arrived flawless. Board lays flat and no gaps. Probably wouldn't notice it was a fold-up board at a glance. The board as a case is functional though I'll likely remove the fake felt plastic cutouts and insert memory foam, and perhaps replace the clasps and hinges with something more substantial. Good platform to work with for the money. Also note, as of the time of this writing, the Tournament 5 Pieces are difficult to find aside from buying this set. One small downside of most sets (still 5 stars), it is a 32 piece set, thus no "spare" queens. So, I'll wait for the Tourney 5 Pieces to come back in stock at a good price then buy another set of pieces and a non-fold version Tourney 5 board and have spares for both.

El detalle de las figuras es muy bueno al igual que la calidad del tablero

La scacchiera che mi é arrivata é molto bella e rispecchia le foto. Le pedine sono in legno e e ben rifinito come tutta la scacchiera. Io non sono un professionista ma gioco molto volentieri con questi scacchi con mia figlia.
