Camera model not supported.
One set worked and the other did not . I noticed one camera had OV2640 stamped on the ribbon and the other did not have any camera model stamped on it. I tried both cameras on both MB's and the unstamped camera would not work with either MB's. The working camera would not work on the MB that came with the unstamped camera. Please send another OV2640 and MB replacement.Sense my first review I have changed the rating from two to five. The refunded my purchase and I purchased the same items and they all worked as expected.

Great solution for downloading from usb
I've used eps32-cam modules for years. I've always had to deal with the ftdi serial adaptors which are a real pain. I had to connect 2 jumpers for power and then 5 jumpers for the serial and the jumpers always fell off. This plugs in easily and stays in. Just plug in the usb from your PC and Bob's your uncle. One catch though: The esp32-cam module that comes with it has a different pinout than the traditional ones sold by themselves. The traditional esp32-cam has always been missing a reset pin. This version fixes this by replacing one of the grounds with a reset pin which is great. But it means you have to keep track of which type esp32-cam is which and not mix them. They could have solved the problem of compatibility by reversing the polarity of that reset pin but I guess not all designers are as smart as me. :-)

Quality Control is lacking
With the included USB-TTL board it was a breeze to compile and download the camera webserver software from the "Examples". I was able to get it up and running in relatively short order. HOWEVER, the camera was woefully out of focus! I bought the 2-pack, so I tried the second camera board. It was amazingly clear. A word of caution though, the camera module with the internal antenna requires a VERY STRONG Wi-Fi signal. I plan to try an external antenna and see if there is a difference. I also plan to try a different camera. The OV2640 camera was fine when it works/is in focus. If both cameras had been in focus, I would have given it 5 stars.I also recommend that before you start you view the DroneBot Workshop video on the ESP32-Cam. It was very helpful and informative: ESP32-CAM - Getting Started & Solving Common Problems (dronebotworkshop.com)All in all, I am quite pleased with my purchase and would recommend it but would caution anyone who purchases this that the quality control on the camera is lacking.

Works great!
A little wrinkle for coming up to speed with this ESP32-CAM-MB board is figuring out how to run the ESP32->Camera->CameraWebServer Arduino example app. The key is to use the "#define CAMERA_MODEL_AI_THINKER" camera model option.

Defective
I purchased these twice, the first batch worked as expected, but the second batch gave me nothing but problems. The wifi would constantly drop connection and the range seemed to be around 4-6 feet, anything further wouldn't even connect at all. I bought the attachable antennas but that didn't help at all, which makes me thinks it might be the wifi modules on the board. I tried everything i could find online and couldn't solve the issues. it's weird because, The first two from the first order work fine and the range is great, even without an external antenna.

Decent wifi camera at an amazing price!
This was much easier to get up and running than I thought it would be. I was expecting compiling errors and whatnot, but it all went smoothly. I recommend following the guide at DRONEBOTWORKSHOP. I used arduino IDE/code since the libraries seem more robust. The steps are as follows:1. Plug it in > open device manager to make sure it enumerates correctly as a COM port.2. Go to DRONEBOTWORKSHOP and follow directions to download correct board settings and libraries3. Open arduino IDE and select correct board, and COM port as shown in my screenshot. Your COM port may differ.4. Open sketch "CameraWebServer"5. Change the wifi settings in the code, near the top. This is your WiFi credentials.6. Upload7. Open COM port serial while in arduino IDE, set baud to 115200. I had to power cycle the board before I started receiving correct serial communication.8. Copy the IP/URL shown in the serial terminal. Paste the address in a browser. I used Chrome.9. The camera interface should come up. Click start stream and your camera should start producing video.Voila! $10 wifi security camera that doesn't need a subscription, and isn't easily exploitable by said subscription company.

Works great, simple, quick ... when it works.
I bought two packs of four, eight units in total. Five worked flawless, easy, quick. The image quality at VGA or SVGA is pretty acceptable for such a tiny endpoint. The wireless connection is stable for the five and we were impressed with the possibilities.Three of them did not work. Two constantly disconnected from wireless, freeze the image, or take a long time to upload the admin web page, or did not load the CIF image at all.One of them connects but the image is frozen and there is no way to make it to work. The good price and offers are very atractive.

Perfect, as described
Bought these for a near-turnkey use of AI-on-the-edge to read my water meter. Loaded up first try and the specs (particularly the PSRAM) are as described and everything works right away.Highly recommended!

Works well. Good quality camera
The esp32 cam board is good quality. It is easy to flash with the shield and the camera quality is good. I have found there has been a variation for esp32 camera quality. The only thing is that you need to install a driver. The driver that comes with Arduino IDE won't recognise the ftdi chip on the shield. The fix (driver reference and installation) is described in a number of forums and instruction sights.

Not as advertised
These do not report correct amount of PSRAM, which means the cameras do NOT work properly. Despite the return window having passed, seller was willing to refund. These units ended up in the trash because I couldn't trust the module.

Bad interference with both unit
Cant use my camera,i must have my finger below the camera plug at a certain spot for them to run at more than 1 frame per 10 secondIf my finger is on that spot i can get some fps, like 10ish at 800x600One was out of focus i had to remove the glue spot to turn the lens to get it focusThese are both unusable for me

Parfait pour les projets de développement en identification d’objets.
Facile à utiliser, conforme à la description. La plaquette USB facilite grandement la tâche pour la programmation. Excellent produit!
