Durable and comfortable for a 100K race!
I am a barefoot runner and have been against wearing barefoot running shoes but because of the distance and uncertainty of the ground in Las Vegas, I wore these shoes for a 100K Taco Bell Ultramarathon yesterday and loved them. They were very comfortable, lightweight but also durable enough to withstand the 62 miles. I only went up and down a couple very short gravel hills but these shoes were slip resistant. They had great traction. I usually wear a 6 1/2 in regular shoes and a 7 in running shoes. I wasn't sure if I should get a 7 or 7 1/2 based on the reviews I read about barefoot running shoes but I bought size 7 and they fit perfectly. I love that the toe box was wide but not too wide so the shoes didn't look weird to me. I highly recommend these to any barefoot runner or any runner who prefers minimalist shoes.

Comfortable shoe
I Love the red color!! The insoles are soft and comfortable. The shoes fits perfectly and grips the floor. It is sturdy and well made. Easy to put on and the Velcro stays closed. Would recommend. Thank You!!!!

Good shoes for the gym
I bought these barefoot trail running shoes specifically for use at the gym, and they’ve worked really well. They’re lightweight and flexible, which makes them comfortable on the treadmill and ellipticals. The low-profile, barefoot-style sole gives good ground feel and stability without being bulky. They fit well, feel secure during workouts, and are comfortable for longer sessions. Overall, a great option if you want a minimalist shoe for gym cardio and training.

Best shoe I’ve bought in years and half the cost.
I am so happy with these that I’m purchasing another pair for daily wear. They aren’t waterproof but I’ve been wearing them in this heavy snow/ice weather we’ve been experiencing. The tread/grip on the bottom is better than my normal snow or hiking boots. My feet don’t ache like they do in traditional boots because these flex with my feet but provide good support at the same time. Very comfortable. True to size.

Great barefoot shoes - don’t be afraid to size up a little if you’re not sure!
I finally found the barefoot shoe that I was looking for. After trying other more premium brands from Amazon and returning them due to sizing and fit I finally hit the jackpot with these! I was concerned about the sizing - depending on the shoe/sandal and brand I can be anywhere from a 6.0 to 7.5. My normal shoe size is 7 (medium width) and usually I size up to 7.5 for athletic shoes. So I ordered the 7.5-8 and it’s perfect - I was worried it would be huge but it’s not. So comfy, very flexible sole and lots of toe wiggle room! Great for what I was looking for - indoor strength training, treadmill walking and outdoor walking on the sidewalk and beach!

Not Supportive (duh)
AFTER TWO YEARS OF WEARING THESE: They last a long time. These were my “daily drivers” and I deliver packages for a living to give you an idea of how durable they really are. The grip is pretty much non-existent against wet asphalt, but I remember it didn’t have a whole lot of grip to start off with. I use the inserts that came with the shoes because I needed the extra support with all my walking. The reason these shoes are only getting 3 stars is because after so long, I began getting a strange, small, very deep cramp in my left calf muscle while putting pressure on my foot in a very certain position that would not go away. I finally talked to a doctor who suggested I may need more supportive shoes. I purchased some traditional walking shoes and after a couple weeks the pain completely disappeared. A true “minimalist” would probably say I need to strengthen my arch but I thought that’s what these shoes were supposed to help me do. Well back to regular shoes for me.

Super comfy! Definitely buying some more!
I have wide feet and high arches and these shoes are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever put my feet in. I was barefoot for the majority of my childhood and most of my young adult life I wore converse or flats. Any time I try to wear tennis shoes my feet and calves cramp and I can only wear them for a very short time. A family member gave me some hokas not too long ago and while they are comfy, I find that my feet slide off their super thick sole if I wear them on uneven ground. We have a small homestead and I work outside all day every day and I had just started wearing sandals or swim shoes to work outside in because all my other shoes were very uncomfortable. I ordered these because I felt like they were a cross between a swim shoe and tennis shoes, they had a wide toe box for my wide feet, and they looked easy to slip off and on. They have met or exceeded every expectation! I've had no problem with my feet slipping and sliding around in the shoe. The sole is thick enough that walking on rocks doesn't hurt my heels, which has been a problem with my swim shoes and sandals. 2 years ago I stepped on a rock and bruised my heel so bad that it hurt constantly for a solid year. I do NOT want to do that again. I'm on my feet all day every day and the majority of that time is spent on rock so I definitely need a good sole. These shoes are great at offering the protection I need without having a big bulky sole, plus they offer the perfect amount of support my feet need and are still flexible enough to make walking on uneven ground easy. I really can't wait to test these out when we go huckleberry hunting. I always wear my swim shoes when we go because I usually wind up climbing up a steep hillside several times in search of an untouched patch of huckles. The tread on the sole looks incredibly grippy and I'm hoping that is the case.... we will see very soon if they are! I can't wait to put them to the test. These are so comfortable and I really bought them to be my designated work shoes but I'm probably going to buy another pair or two in different colors. I got the blue ones and they are very bright, I love the color but they don't match much of my wardrobe. So I'll probably order some in a more neutral color for going to town. The first day I had them I wore them without socks, which was what I hoped to be able to do, however, since I don't really wear "real" shoes very often, they were starting to rub my heel. I have been wearing some light low cut socks and that solved that problem. Not sure if it was the shoe or if it was my heel, but everything is good now that I am wearing socks. Time will tell on how durable these shoes are, but rest assured I will be putting them through the wringer. They feel very durable, hopefully they will last me a long time. I really like them so far and want some more!

Comfortable, runs big and wide.
These are cute sneakers, and are very comfortable. They run big, and are wide, so I’d recommend going down a size.

Estos tenis proporcionan una excelente manera de caminar; los dedos se sienten libres, recordando los días de la niñez cuando salía a jugar descalza.

I’m adding to my original review below…I’ve worn the dark grey ones for a few months and the size is perfect. I ordered the all black ones to have another pair but the style is a bit different and they are a snugger fit. Still awesome, but I recommend going up a size if you are buying the all black style. I will be returning them and purchasing the next size. I’ve been a barefoot distance runner for years running in the Merrel Trail and Vapour Gloves. They changed the design and fit of those shoes and they were no longer comfortable. After I broke a bone in my foot, I feared barefoot running was over for me. I decided to give these a try as they seemed to offer a touch of extra padding under the big toe (where my injury was), while still maintaining a barefoot feel. I found them true to size with extra room in the toe box…which is necessary when barefoot running as your toes need ample room to splay naturally without feeling confined. This was an amazing feature compared to the Merrel barefoot shoes which are VERY narrow. They are very much a barefoot shoe but offer a slight amount of cushion under the big toe and heel which make your feet very happy. They are breathable and don’t smell at all. I recommend airing them out after each run…meaning don’t keep them sealed in a gym bag or cupboard and you won’t have any issues. I have never worn socks (which you shouldn’t in barefoot shoes) and have accumulated about 150 miles worth of running in them in the last 4 months. They don’t smell AT ALL and they look brand new! I couldn’t be happier with them. I’ve never gotten a blister or formed calluses as I have in other barefoot shoes. The interior is nice and soft. The price point is the cherry on top! Half the price of other barefoot shoes on the market!! I’m buying another pair to add to my collection. Don’t hesitate to buy these because they are inexpensive, they are a quality and comfortable barefoot shoe!! Happy running!!
