Q: why does the title say "di oro - large silicone spatula - 600ºf " but in the detailed description it says "high heat 450°f pro-grade silicone " ?

I would say it should say 450 degrees plus, up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit. These spatulas are very high quality. I am a home chef and am amazed at the quality of the Di Oro line. I bought one spatula and loved it so much I bought the entire set! You really can't go wrong. I have been seriously cooking for 40 years, and this really is the best product out there. Try it. I swear you will love it.

Q: Is this spatula NSF, or not. Heard great reviews on it, but it does no good if I can't use it in the kitchen.

Considering that I saw the review on America's Test Kitchen, where they review all sorts of appliances, cookware, cutlery, and recipes for Cooking Magazine, and recommended this as their favorite, I would assume that this is safe to use in the kitchen.That being said, I went to Di-Oro's website, and called their customer service where I was told that they do have NSF and FDA certifications.

Q: How thick is the front edge of this spatula? I am looking for a spatula that tapers to a very thin edge (for omelets).

The front edge of the spatula is not very thin. More on the stiff side. I use it for scrambled eggs, it fits the pan nicely and withstands the heat.

11-1/4 inches. I love the spatula btw.
