I am on my second bottle now and I feel it helps me sleep better and gives me more energy for the day. No effect on the stomach whatsoever! Easy to swallow pills.

This is a really great product for anyone looking for safe, natural and optimized vitamins. I have a gene abnormality called MTHFR which affects my body's ability to break down folic acid. Folic acid is one of the B vitamins. It plays a vital role in muscle, nerve and brain function. It also plays a critical role during pregnancy preventing birth defects. Folic acid is so important that nearly all of our grains we eat today are fortified with it. This is all great but if you are like me, I lack the gene that converts folic acid into its absorbable form Methylfolate. My doctor recommended that I take a vitamin containing "methylfolate," because this is the already broken down form of folic acid that is easily absorbed. That being said it's nearly impossible to find a vitamin that uses methlyfolate instead of folic acid. After a ton of searching and label reading, here it is ! This product contains the safest and one of best forms of methlyfolate (L-5 MTHF) After research I learned for my gene abnormality the best forms are the ones that's start with "L" methlyfolate. I'm so pleased with this vitamin overall too. In addition to easily absorbed methylfolate, it also has the easily absorbed form of another critical B vitamin, B12 as methlycobalamin. All of the vitamins come from organic sources which is another huge plus. Lastly, I was worried this vitamin might upset my stomach because it contains iron. I notoriously get sick to my stomach when I take any vitamin with iron in it. But not with Mega Foods. It must be because again, they use readily absorbable forms of vitamins and minerals so they aren't harsh on your stomach. Overall I can't recommend this product enough. I will be a life long Megafoods vitamin user.

Hear me out - pricey, yes. Worthy of it? Yes, absolutely. I am in school for Dietetics. I am very particular about the ratios of nutrients and in what forms I will take a supplement. I prefer liquid, but this tablet is amazing. The overall formulation of this supplement is excellent; it's ideal for people who struggle to get a wide array of nutrients in their standard diet. It covers a lot of bases, and is methylated where possible (B12, for example) which are higher quality and offer more bioavailability. I am not a picky eater, but I do have sensory avoidance, which results in me always eating the same kinds of things. I love tofu, sweet potatoes, and fruit - I hate eating red meat, can't stand eggs that are scrambled, and I'm hesitant to drink Milk. Basically, I avoid things that are full of good fats and nutrients just by proxy of not liking them. Red meat is high in Iron & B12, Eggs are high in Vitamin D, and Milk is high in Calcium - I am always borderline deficient in all of these. Full deficiency in Iron. These tablets help hold me steady and fill in the gaps of my eating habits. They're a good idea if you are behind, as the dosage will allow you to catch up very quickly. They pair well with my Iron pills, and do not upset my stomach. I WILL say, though - they have made me vomit twice after taking them on an empty stomach. Drink a LOT of Water, and eat a little snack if you are in between meals. This was 100% user error on my part, because I often forget to eat during the day and prefer eating at night...but this is a morning supplement for me. It is a very high dosage of a lot of vital nutrition, but, it can be a bit much and make you feel queasy. If you feel nauseous after taking them on an empty stomach, drink some water and eat a handful of a snack. It will go away. YMMV on the "empty stomach" aspect of these, like me. If I am hydrated and fed, absolutely zero issues. They helped my nails grow, and paired with correcting my Iron, my hair is growing, too.

I read that this was the best vitamin for 1quality and it is available in a dose to take once a day and a dose you take twice a day. I take the twice a day MegaFood and my husband takes the once a day. I added it to my automatic delivery so we are never without it.
