Q: Does this light get warm to the touch after using it?

On high, at about 75°f ambient it gets a little warm around the head after about 10 minutes, having been in my pocket until use. With turbo you can notice it if you're paying attention after about 5 and definitely it's warm by 10 minutes of use. Never uncomfortable in my hand though, even after an hour of crawling around with it, in and out of my pocket not bothering to turn off. Just in general, LEDs are on average about 85% efficient at optimal voltage meaning 15%of the wattage you're supplying is being converted to heat, and it's important to remember efficiency drops off tremendously as the LED is driven at higher voltages so your heat dissipation increases exponentially as your voltage increases, and vice versa. In compact devices like this the normal settings are actually usually running the diode module under design voltage for higher thermal efficiency, then the advertised max output is always a "turbo" mode intended for short durations as to not build up a lot of heat in the body of the light. In this case though, I'd say turbo mode can be used regularly as long as you're not in an attic in the summer on the equator or something. I work in a field requiring regular inspection to all sorts of structures, I constantly lose lights. This is the best I've found for my use case. it's durable, has a battery indicator, usb c so I don't have to keep track of another charger and it's cheap enough I can have a spare or even a few in stock for when it goes down a hole or left on a warehouse shelf two states away.

Q: There is no port to plug the charging cord into. How do I charge it???

Screw the body of the flashlight nearest the bulb down towards the other end of the flashlight to expose the port.

No it does not I ordered the Klarus battery from Amazon, as stores locally only sold a lower rated battery that was of inferior quality. The flashlight is an excellent value for the money.
