Spot on lens when stopped down.
The adapter fits well and works well to control the aperture but, once you close the aperture you start to see a weird black spot in the middle of the lens. I've tried it with all of my G mount lenses and an F mount lens and all of them have this issue. Maybe there's a shift in the flange distance that causes this. Who knows. I think I'll send it back for a refund.

O produto demorou para ser enviado e entregue, mas resolvi esperar e chegou. O produto é bem construído, material de boa qualidade. Já testei a lente sigma com o adaptador para a canon e funciona muito bem. Apenas não tem foco automático, mas quem é fotógrafo raiz usa manual.

Be careful: the manufacturer's website warns against using it with full frame cameras like 5D and othersIt fits EF-S cameras only, NOT EF, contrary to Amazon's description

Does what it says, but smells weird?
The adaptor does what it says, fitted to a Canon EOS it allows infinite focus on older M42 lenses & through the attached chip allows near perfect in-focus feedback. The one weird thing is that pulling it out of the "factory sealed" packaging the epoxy that attaches the chip to the adapter was not set & was outgassing.Touching the excess glue that had leaked onto the screw threads it was tacky & still elastic but came away easily. Because I need this adaptor today I will carry on using it & track if the epoxied part stays affixed, obviously if under normal use it detaches I will need to return.In summary, apart from the smell everything else works great.

Great way to extend the life of an old lens
Fit perfectly onto my Canon T2i, and let me use my 50mm f1.9 X-Fujinon.Fit is solid and wiggle free, close focus distance is correct, and focus to infinity works as far as I can tell.
