I've owned this for 3 years now, and it might be the single greatest joy-spreading gadget I have.Pros:- Printing is quick and seeing photos developing adds that fun mystery element back into photographs.- The square aspect ratio helps make your prints look good and well-composed (thanks for the lesson Instagram!). It also makes the pictures feel more substantial and more like classic Polaroid. They're easily legible when posted on a fridge, and you can comfortably make out faces in a group photo. The smaller rectangle ratio of the other printers yields photos that are just a bit too small for comfort – details get too tiny and you have to put more thought into your crop before you print.- Portable! I charge this up and bring it with me on almost every trip I take with friends and family.- Unlike a Polaroid camera, the fact that you print from your phone means you can choose the right shots to print and print shots other people share with you.- App makes it easy to reprint duplicates, so you can quickly print out copies to share.Cons:- The prints often end up darker than the photo looked on your phone. I find that using their app's "Intelligence Filter" yields more reliable prints.- Prints aren't "tack-sharp", but they're plenty good for keeping happy memories on your fridge.- You have to switch onto the device's own Wifi network to send it a photo, which means you have to disconnect from your real internet-connected Wifi. It adds a couple taps to the process of connecting and printing. I wish they made this work over Bluetooth instead.- The app can be slow to process things at times.In all, highly recommend if you're looking to create fun, sharable mementos.

I like the idea of think and print the right images from the phone as instax cartridge is an expensive deal in an Indian scenario.The charging port could have been USB - C and it could have accepted more formats of Instax.

I'll go through the cons first:So I just received this printer and have already printed a few pictures. For me, the app has been a little annoying because I am trying to print a lot of pictures that are already on my phone from a while back. When doing so, I need to go back and forth from reconnecting from my home wifi to the instax printer wifi for basically every picture. When I take a picture straight on the app, I don't seem to be having the connection issue and it prints right away.Another con (or I guess suggestion): unfiltered photos/or those light on the filtered side show up better than heavily filtered photos. The app has its own filter it applies to pictures (this feature can be turned off if you choose) so because of this, I suggest printing the original picture. For example if you use the huji app to take pics, those came out super dark when I printed them so I don't recommend printing that style.However despite the 2 negative comments, I absolutely will still give this printer 5 stars. The pictures are beautiful and have such a nostalgic feel. It's not a hard device to use. I've literally had it for about 30 mins and I absolutely adore this product. I'm sure I'll figure out the kinks as I keep using it but if you don't mind wasting a few exposures just to figure it out, I think it's definitely worth every penny!Dog pic is taken in the share app and is unfiltered (he was jumping as took the pic).

I love this printer soooo much. I print from my smartphone easily. Can edit photos from the app and can get photos easily from Instagram, Facebook and other media. The film comes out super fast and takes about 1 min or 2 for photo to develop. Highly recommended better than the no ink, print on zink paper printer. However this is only on wifi and need to have gps on so smartphone can connect to the printer. Still a excellent printer.

Square is the best size for instant films! I had a hard time connecting the printer to my phone (note 8) in the beginning but after playing around a little, I realized it connects right away only when I turn on the location on my phone. Other than that, the printer itself is easy to use. Just be careful not to press on the reprint button by accident.. it can happen easily because the reprint button is on the opposite side of the power button...
