A littlenlate review but must review. I bought thisnon 2022. And now sometimes whenni turn it onnit gives red light andbi have to thennrestart it. Another issue that i was ignoring was the hair gets stuck innthe plates. Lots of my hair got broken whenever I used it. But since i had bought andnused it and couldn't return, i had to compromise but I will not recommend this model, solely due to hair getting stuck

BEWARE Counterfeit GHD!! I give one star but would give less if that was possible. Received order on the next day. * The product pictures show a GHD Platinum Plus (latest version), I received a GHD Platinum. * First seconds with the items in my hands and I could already feel the cheap material Used! The engraved GHD logo was poorly done. I compared my friend’s straigthener with the one I received and no doubt, the difference was obvious * Even if I was sure it was a fake product, i decided to give it a try and register the product on GHD website. The “Date Code” which is use to authenticate all GHD products was not recognized on the official website I am asking for a refund and hope Amazon will do something about it! It is a shame that it is a Fulfilled by Amazon product, this means Amazon do not even check the authenticity of expensive goods like this one I will buy directly from GHD in Europe, more expensive, but at least I will get what I pay for

The Ultra-Smart Predictive Technology is one of its standout features. It's supposed to adapt the heat to your hair type, which is a cool concept. While it seems to work fine, I haven't noticed a huge difference compared to my previous straightener, which was also high-quality. Styling with the ghd Platinum+ is smooth and easy. It does a good job, and you can create different looks with it. That said, I can't say it's significantly better than other straighteners in its price range. The quick heating feature is handy when you're in a hurry, but it's pretty standard these days. Safety-wise, the automatic sleep mode and plate coating are nice touches, though not exactly groundbreaking. The design is comfortable to use, but it's not dramatically different from other good straighteners I've used. Universal voltage is a plus if you travel a lot, but for everyday use, it might not matter.

These straighteners are very good my wife swears by them , easy to operate does exactly what they should do great appearance. My uses them everyday her hair 25 inches long and they have no problem straightening it, light to use and look great in white
