Beginner good
Great value for the price good for a beginner or just want to try for small projects. Every item good except the groover total worthless came with beveler tips that were totally dull. Will find another use for it. Needed other items and didn't want to bother returning. Otherwise I'm good.

For beginners only
This kit is great for trying your hand at leather working, but not great for long term use or hobbyists. The tools are either dull or poor quality and break very easily. It’ll get you through a small to medium sized project, but don’t expect these tools to last very long and be prepared to spend a lot of time watching how-to videos. The tools didn’t come with instructions or even names of the tools.

Excellent, well made and durable tools.
I love everything and as a beginner I now feel well equipped to continue working with leather to make bags. A written list of items would be helpful though. Thanks for all these wonderful tools.

You get what you pay for, but that’s not a bad thing.
Fairly good quality. I chose this kit because it does not include waxed thread, or a dozen Emory boards that they count as 12 “items” in the 26 piece kit. I already had a 12-pack of thread picked out to buy because the thread included in most kits comes in really blah colors. All I need to do (for now) is attach a leather wrap to a lightsaber hilt, using a baseball stitch. So I don’t need a zillion dollar kit.Oh FYI, there are NO leather sewing needles included! Meaning the big eye, blunt tipped ones. I thought that was silly. A ton of other types of needles though. The scratch awl is bent, and the awls in general are very tiny. I really hoped one of the other awls would be a diamond awl or 4 sided like the prickers but no. I figure if I get into leather crafting, I’ll upgrade the specific tools I like.I also bought: a self healing work mat, a pack of leather needles, and a rotary cutter.

Got me into leathercraft
Definitely not the greatest tools, but they’re definitely good enough for someone who’s trying out leathercraft. Doesn’t come with thread so I suggest you buy that separately. Even then you’re saving some good money still.

Does the trick without a large investment
Pros: To start off this set has a decent number of tools. The interchangeable bevler and marking marking scribe are nice for space saving.Cons: the needles are nothing special as these same sets can be found at any craft/fabric store. A lot of the tools were too dull to use out of the box. The scratch awl and stitch prick punches had to be sharpened. The rolling stitch markers wobble like they are gonna fall apart. Also the pins aren’t aligned very well so your pattern may start to skew off if your not paying close attention.Overall OK if you know how to file for sharpening. If not look for something a little better and high rated

Affordable but lower quality than expected.
Everything arrived and is in the kit as specified. The Tools with handles are not straight and appear to bend fairly easily, so I'm worried they won't last very long. Specifically the awl shaft is way out of alignment - it isn't in the center of the handle and is also not perpendicular to the handle itself, which I expect will make things harder to use - but all of the wood handled tools are off center or crooked to some degree. Maybe this is on purpose since I'm not very familiar with these tools, but I really doubt it.Nothing is sharp - that's fairly easy to fix if you have other tools on hand. The box it came in is well labelled, but it is just a cardboard box, not the best in my opinion for long term storage. As I am just starting out seems fine for me to learn with, hopefully everything holds up well enough that I don't get frustrated with the tools during the learning/practice process.

Good enough place to start.
While the overall package is useful, many of the tools need work to make them work well and accurate.

The metal is too soft for punching holes; they break, bend and twist.
The box with leather tools, had no descriptions of using the tools. And the prongs for punching holes are bend and broken after just one weeks of using them.
