I’m learning to use a straight razor! Great product for beginners

I guess if you just want the looks and shape of straight razor these things will do just fine. However, the shaving experience is annoying. Unlike a real thing which you can just wipe with a towel, this one tends to trap hair between the plastic holder and a blade just like safety razor. I used it once and didn't feel like it was a good substitute, so I kept the other 5 pieces as souvenirs.

Only received 3 blades but don't need replacements.

I wanted all plastic razors so these don't work for me.

I finally grew sick of my electric razor and bought 12 of these and a very cheap safety razor to practice and see how I liked using a straight razor as I searched for something to solve my razor burn issues. I learned that someone skilled with a straight razor can do a fantastic job, otherwise it can be a poor experience. That said, I was able to take it slow and give it a fair shot with these over a few shaves and saw better (not great) results as far as irritation goes. After going back and trying the last one of these after using a real straight razor and quality safety razor full time for a few months, I found that they actually do a pretty good job and I got a quality shave without irritation.The downside is that the plastic casing easily picks up cream and hair if you let it get into the cracks, and these are a pretty terrible environmental/financial option over a shavette. Barbers would do much better to simply replace blades than the entire razor and handle.

Plastic protection must be removed BEFORE use...flexes but is user friendly and flexes...3-4 shaves max with 4 passes in between

Terrible, many cuts. Threw away.

It's a good buy. My husband really enjoyed using it and the blades are good. The only downfall is that it doesn't last to long, but I guess you get what you pay.
