I bought a few dandruff shampoo and conditioners to try as I am new to this issue. I have always had dry skin, and most of my wardrobe is black and darker colors, but never noticed anything until lately. Other products I have bought make my hair oily by 24 hours later and smell like something out of a hospital bathroom. This scent of Dove is so salon quality I was impressed by how much I enjoyed it, I always thought Dove was the "cheap" option, but this does the job combating dandruff and makes you smell high end! The o yl issue I have with this shampoo and conditioner, is that it will do like the others and leave your hair feeling oily about 24 hours after use. It could be common for dandruff supplies, but this one uses one type of chemical where other products may offer a different side effect with others. I can say the itching and burning on my scalp is 100% gone with use, but it will come back after a few days, which again might be normal for dandruff products, I'm no expert and new to the issue. This shampoo and conditions set is pretty thick and feels like a lotion, which I assume helps with the magic. As far as my opinion of Dove goes this has turned my mind 100%, not naming product lines, but I also bought a very expensive shampoo and conditioner set, but it SEVERELY disappointed when compared to the Dove products. Not to mention the expensive brand made me smell like I was an elderly patient in a nursing home. With long hair and working in an office, that smell carried and was noticeable...so embarrassing...

I stopped buying hair care products from Sephora after hopping on Dove. This line of hair products from Dove is truly amazing. I have severely damaged hair from 3 years of balayage, and after trying at least 30 different types of shampoo, conditioner, and hair masks, this Dove shampoo and conditioner made my hair feel better than any of the expensive products ever did.

Works well on my scalp but is a little drying on my hair
