Loving these
Due to these, I am so much closer to the quality of image I try to produce. I am only self-taught not formally trained and if they can help me produce an image like this I'm sure they can help others on their way.

These are not skintone!
This is just a standard box of pastels. There is not a single one of them that could be described as flesh-coloured. It’s true that ultramarine, dark grey, black etc might be used for shading, but I didn’t order this box for that purpose. No pinkish hues; not one..

Good quality/variety of colours set of 72 pastel pencils
I have been eyeing this set of 72 in wooden box for over 2 years, finally decided to buy them. They are better than I imagined with balanced variety of colours (unlike Faber Castell set of 60 pastel pencils which does not have a balanced set of colours, far too many yellows/oranges and not enough blues and greens/landscape colours). I am very pleased with the texture of these, they lay down easily and layer easily, with minimal dust. I like them better than Faber Castell. The colour at the end of the pencil is not the true colour, but each colour is written on the barrel.

Breaking in the actual tin!
Got a lion on the tin rather than a lovely macaw, as advertised on site - which was a bit meh......!Having begun to use these, have noticed that they break far, far too easily, so I am wasting tons of product.Won't buy again.

Very good for the price
These are not bad at all for the price, although I prefer Caran D'ache, but then you would pay a premium for the later. They do feel a little scratchy but work well. If they are the only ones in your budget then I don't think you would be disappointed.
