I tested a rechargeable 1.2 battery and got about 6 hours of light.

Q: What are the lumens on Normal/High modes?

You will have to contact the manufacturer. It is not that powerful. I prefer about 2 times more brightness and a larger beam of light for my headlamp, but the price is probably unbeatable. I think it's designed to be light weight and for running or skiing at night.

Q: Why does the two pack cost more than two singles?
