Worked great on my door hinges

The screws start easy, then go smoothly into the wood. Some carpenter genius decided to install a door using only one set of screws in the the top hinge. The installation was in a laundry room, which is outside. We had some high winds, They lifted the door out of position, and put the hinges where there did not contact the frame. When I got them back in position installing these screws was easy, and will prevent incidents such as this. If left alone, I would have to get a new frame, and probably a door. Use the screws!

I recently replaced all the doors and hinges in a property I bought because all the doors were coming loose from the frames and problems closing. Unfortunately the new beautiful hinges I bought in the brushed nickel came with 1/2" screws which seemed very inadequate for the new doors so my installer recommended I buy longer screws. These are perfect and it was an easy install for my contractor. So pleased that I won't have sticking doors and they match the color of my hinges perfectly! Next I'll rate the hinges with the short screws....ggggrrr.

I always replace the screws when getting a new door. These shipped fast, are good quality and overall a better hold than the standard screws that come with a new door.
