I bought this western belt strap for my son as a gift, it was a great buy. He didn’t need another generic buckle, just a solid leather strap to switch them out with, and this one it’s perfect. The leather is thick and feels like real quality, not cheap stuff that is no good after a few wears. It’s got that classic western look with a nice, clean finish, no designs or branding, which he liked. The 1.5" width works great with his buckles, and it fit just right with his jeans. It’s comfortable, and flexible but still sturdy enough to hold up to everyday wear. He was surprised with how well it’s made for the price. If you or someone already has a collection of western buckles, this is a great belt to have on hand. I might actually grab one for myself next.

I purchased this belt for my husband to wear when he is working entertainment. It’s gotten a lot of use with an added gun belt. It’s stood up well while being rubbed at by the gun belt and still looks fine.

This is a thick belt and the smooth and finished upper side rolls around to cover the sides It’s not the type of belt that’s going to start fraying because of it being thin or having unfinished sides that wear down from friction against my pants. It has 7 holes that are all about an inch apart. There’s double snaps that have an unpainted silver finish— no paint to scratch off and look cheap after it’s been worn a few times. It comes in a fabric sleeve to protect it during shipment so that it arrived perfectly without a single scratch. This smells of genuine leather too. As soon as I robed the protective sleeve that beautiful aroma of leather hit me!

The leather has a strong feel to it and seems to be able to withstand a lot of wear and tear. The snap-on mechanism worked like a charm when I utilized this product with one of my favorite rodeo buckles, so I could use it right away. Hearing the small 'click' as you tighten the belt in place is a delightful sensory experience. It seems to me that the width is just right for a belt in the Western style. While it is not so broad that it seems out of place with more casual ensembles, it is strong enough to hold its own with bigger buckles, measuring 1 1/2 inches in width. Both jeans and dressier pants look great with the black hue, which is a deep and even shade of black. Over time, the leather has begun to gradually become more pliable and conform to my waist, which is something that I truly love. Initially, it was a little bit stiff, but after a few weeks of consistent use, it has made a significant improvement in terms of comfort. I get the impression that it will only become better with time, coming to have that pleasant, lived-in appearance that high-quality leather develops over the course of time.

I’ve worn this belt daily for MAYBE 3-6mos and I’m experiencing issues very similar to a video posted in the reviews. Specifically with the color actually peeling off the edge of the belt. It’s minimal right now and only at the top of a section but noticeable as you examine the belt. So…to see that it’s not truly black leather or even black faux leather, is a 3 star rating from me. I feel the belt itself will last long and continue to be very durable, but the color won’t last.

Overall very nice fit and quality. Like the details.

Very nice belt in real leather. I needed a belt to put my buckle on. This was it! A tad too thin but that was my fault for not measuring better. Recommended.
