Wore these on a 12 hour flight from China, very comfy did the job

These are fantastic. I wore them for a long flight (18+hours) and am a healthy individual who likes to be proactive about Venous Thromboembolism or any other blood clot incidents. They are definitely tight as they should be and helped circulate my blood throughout- and are nice that they don't keep falling down like 95% of dress socks. Would consider using them regularly if they weren't so hard to put on/take off. I'm a size 11.5 in US Men's and the Large fit perfectly fine if not a bit tighter than anticipated, but I think that's how they should be. Would recommend 2XU over those non-name brands or generic ones since the quality is good and can definitely last through a few hundred washes.

Was surprised to find that they were labeled L and R -- I only need the support hose on one leg. Downgraded to only 4 stars as it wasn't clear in the description that they were R & L specific. However, the R-labeled one works okay on my L leg. (Maybe the L & R are the same except the label?)Tip to get them on a bit more easily (although it's still difficult): use lots of talcum powder on the skin immediately beforehand. (I use Johnson's baby powder brand.)

Appropriate fit for size. Seem very sturdy. I chose this model because it had heavier construction and I read reviews taking about snags and tears in the lighter racing models. I'm pleased because they are very tough and have no snags to date yet I can wear them all day comfortably.

Excellent compression socks; very pleased. Tip for getting them on: use latex gloves, makes it easier to grip fabric and pull on.
