Not what they once were
Although they were expensive, Polo Ralph Lauren Classic Cotton Woven Boxers were once a very comfortable, roomy in the crotch and high quality fabric boxer short. That was then. Now they are still expensive, look nice, but are tight and uncomfortable in the crotch and are made from a noticeably lower grade fabric. I still have a couple of old pairs and when I wear them, compared to the new ones it is a difference of night and day. It isn't an issue of shrinkage. They new ones were only washed in cool water and were not put through the dryer. The size on the label is what I have always bought. The worst part is how un-roomy they are. I found another brand (not on Amazon) that looked kind of nice, same uncomfortable tight fit, same cheap cotton material as the Polo. Only difference was they were $6 per pair. I wouldn't recommend these. I don't care about the designer brand label. All I want is very comfortable, nice looking, high quality and that is no longer what get on this high dollar item.

Quality of this cotton is not worthy of the Polo Ralph Lauren Label
We have other older Polo Ralph Lauren cotton boxers that are top quality cotton and comfortable with a good quality waste band. How these can even use the name is beyond comprehension. they are rough cotton and cut a bit smaller and not worth a penny. terrible that these are even being allowed to be sold. Just because it has the label and only does not mean it has any standards. So disappointing.

Quality has gone down
Have been wearing Polo Ralph Lauren Boxers for years. Both 3 pairs recently and while they fit great, all three tore within 3 months. It's not worth paying a premium to receive a sub-premium product. What a "rip" off!!!

not the same
I bought these to replace a worn out pair of the same boxers. They seem to have been cut much smaller, weren't as soft or as nicely made as old ones.

Disappointing
These were disappointing to say the least. I first thought they were knock offs. I ordered some directly from Macy's as well and they are the same terrible quality. The old ones were soft, thick, durable, and well made. The new ones are see through, fabric pills when dried, and the logo looks like Skeletor is riding the horse. Not worth the high price. Very disappointing overall.

Not the Quality of Past Years
The fabric is very thin, almost certainly will not last very long. The waist bandies not have the embedded RL logos nor the center front big R L logo. I suspect this product is, at best, a weak copy made under license.

Not what I expected
I washed them when I got them. However, the boxers remain stiff and full of lint no matter how much picking off of the lint I try to get off by washing them. The legs are wide and do not feel comfortable in them. I have worn them at least twice to bed and still feel uncomfortable. I throw in my laundry 1-2 pods of detergent and use bounce to try to soften them but it does not work. THEY ARE STILL VERY STIFF

Not the durable boxers I'd come to expect from Ralph Lauren
Come on, guys: use better material in manufacturing. These feel flimsy and like they will wear out quickly. I historically have loved Polo's boxers, but this feels like the cheap boxers I could buy at K-mart (and you see what's happened to them). I don't buy Polo because of the little dude on the horse or because I really want RL to have more money. I buy Polo because I want top quality surrounding the family jewels. Because beneath the tough guy exterior is the innate need to have durable, heavy (but soft!) cotton threads holding everything together underneath. And when I'm with my lady, it just isn't cool to have to worry about whether the seams of my boxers are coming apart: yeah, that interferes with my social agenda, big time (you know what I'm talking about). So do better with the materials you use to make the interior armor. Because I'm not into silk. I think spandex should be outlawed. I'm sure as hell not into G-strings. And I refuse to roll commando.I want my cotton boxers that are durable. Is that too much to ask?
