BEATO Pro 3 Hdw Bag 36" wheels

Good as an inexpensive camera grip gear case.
This is a lightly padded, soft drum hardware bag, but works as a portable case for my camera grip gear when used with a lightweight handtruck. My Cinevate Atlas 10 slider, a couple medium sized Manfrotto tripods, and a monopod, and two or three light weight light stands fit nicely inside. There is room left over for a small audio kit and small LED light kit or small Lowell light fixture. There are no dividers inside so using a small furniture blanket, foam tubing, small plastic boxes for little stuff, and/or a few towels help to keeps the metal objects from scratching one another. I like how the bag fits sideways in the back of my Jeep Patriot. Only had it for a few days so, durablity has not been tested. This will probably not provide enough protection for air travel but for local shoots using a car it keeps the gear contained. A bigger bag would probably get too heavy and too bulky so this is about as large a case as I would want to roll with. Even though this bag has wheels I use a folding handtruck because steps, gravel paths and grassy terrain can be more easily handled. The wheels on the bag slip into the hole at the bottom of the handtruck to help keep the Beato Pro 3 bag from falling off.Note: I recently bought the USA made version of the 36" wheeled drum bag by Beato. It was $150 but much better and worth the extra cost. It has better larger wheels, better padding, a plywood bottom. The USA made 36" Beato hardware bag is slightly sleeker (narrower) too which I prefer. The only minus might be that there is one zipper on top, while the Chinese made Beato Bag has two zippers on top so has slightly easier access putting things in and taking things out.

Really like this bag
Really like this bag. I also have a larger one (47 inch) but needed a second smaller one for my snare stand, tom legs, a couple of cymbal stands, and some miscellaneous (cow bell, kick pedal, brackets, jingle ring, etc.) This works perfectly for that plus there is a handy side pocket for sticks, brushes, tape, etc. Even has room for a few bottles of water if you want. This bag is very well made and the wheels make transporting much easier.I would recommend this to anyone.

Actual bag is very flimsy. Handles are not placed in effective places with only one duffle bag style handle on the top and one to drag the bag. One of the wheels broke off the second time I used it so that's not very good. The bag itself zips up and is supposed to velcro closed but does not close fully and leaves a 2-3" gap at the top of the bag by the drag handle. Would not buy or recommend this hardware case to anyone.

Manageable
Works great. I have the longer model too, but it was too heavy to lift. I got this for shorter stands, pedals,

Fantastic Case!
This is a total bargain for the price. It holds all my hardware gear and the rollers make moving it so easy.

Buying my second, overall a great value!
I'm buying a second one after 2 years... the first has been great but the bottom is starting to fall apart. I load it with keyboard stand, throne, cables, etc. Drag it up and slide it down stairs regularly, when I can't use the rollers. The BEATO Pro 1 line looks great, but I prefer the double zipper top the Pro 3 has. My guess is the BEATO folks have the Pro 3 line made in China, and it sells for cheap... but you don't get the service that the Pro 1 line gets (and the Pro 1 line is made in the US and is roughly 2-3 times the price). I'm a return customer, so that's a good testimonial. No 5th star because the bag still needs to be replaced every year or two with moderate use.

Wheel broke after 1 year and they don't respond
I liked this bag until I had a wheel break right where the mount connects to the underside of the bag. It's plastic so you might expect that it's not going to hold up well to a 50 lbs. load. What bothers me the most is that I tried to contact customer service from their website explaining the scenario with pics of the damage and never heard a word back from them... VERY POOR customer service. I'll take my business elsewhere in the future.
