Great for your parrot cage
I bought this paper for my parrot cage and it works fine for that purpose. It’s not thick but it gets changed daily so it’s not a problem. The paper sheets are smooth, clean, uniform, and a light gray color. They are the same size as newsprint used to be before newspapers started downsizing their sheets. The paper is easy to manage and I can see how it would be good for wrapping items.PS I’ve used the paper for 3 months now and am still pleased. Reordering a supply today.

Decent if you don't want to leave your house
I used this product to wrap dishes and valuables before moving. It worked well-I only had one broken dish in the lot, and I have about 3 sets worth of dishes. It's sturdy, cushioning and holds up well to wrapping odd objects. That being said, this item is rather pricey. This is probably meant to compensate for the shipping costs. There should be cheaper alternatives near you, unless you are very isolated. I was devastated when I found paper at a big-name retail store at a quarter of this cost.

Just the right amount of packing paper for a smaller move.
This was great paper to use to pack glasses, cups & other breakables in our recent move. The paper is in a good size sheet for wrapping plates & serving bowls; easily tore in half for wrapping smaller glass items. It wasn't too heavy but was actually kind of soft & pliable. No chemical smell. Well pleased!

Perfect for what I needed.
Bought to put down in my dragon tanks because one of them is a "painter" and I can't keep up with cleaning the tiles anymore. It looks great, and I am excited to clean a bit less!

We needed every sheet of this! Buy 2 times what you think you need, and other moving tips
Are you moving? My advice to you is to buy twice as much of this newsprint as you think you need. It is worth the minimal extra cost, and you will thank yourself in the end.We used every single sheet we bought, as well as the newsprint we got from UHAUL with our boxes, and old newspapers, and magazines, and scrap paper, and junk mail, and old letterhead—well, you get it. (Also, get more boxes than you think you need.)This paper is slightly thinner than what UHAUL sells, but I actually found that that made it easier to work with. Also, buy lots of lotion and use it all the time while you're packing—multiple times a day— or wear work gloves, because this stuff dries out your hands in no time. Packing with cracked, painful fingers is no fun.
