EcoSmart 60W Equivalent Soft White LED bulbs
EcoSmart 60W Equivalent Soft White, I originally got these at the local big box hardware Depot, I liked the natural incandescent light quality, these are replacing the CFL's I had. the CFL's tend to loose brightness after a while and are slow to warm up when it gets cold, the LED's are instant on and provide a good amount of light with the reduced consumption of electricity. The LED lamps do not get hot per'se but the housing can get warm to the touch and may be warm enough to be unpleasant if you take the bulb out "hot" I bought these because they where in an 8 pack, HD had them in 4 packs at a slightly higher cost.

Great price for a great bulb. And I go through a lot of bulbs.
I've spent much more money on the same bulbs at the local big box retailer. My house eats lightbulbs, and the ones that have lasted the longest and performed best are bulbs like these. This very model hasn't been around long enough for me to attest to its longevity.The light is a little whiter than an incandescent bulb but if it's in a fixture, there's no noticeable difference. With so little wattage being used, and so little heat generated, I'm quite comfortable leaving more lights on when I'm out of the house.

Other LED bulbs were interfering with operation of my Chamberlin ...
Other LED bulbs were interfering with operation of my Chamberlin garage opener (LED's can emit frequencies that will interfere with the operation of other equipment), these didn't. Almost went crazy trying to fix problem, but it was other LED bulbs. Who knew?
