Doesnt compress your hips! Perfect hourglass shape!
UPDATE EDIT 4/24 ***** The faja is still my all time favorite faja, but the straps did break. I had to replace them with some other ones I purchased here on amazon which I recommend. They are thicker more durable 15mm or 18mm ones search them! Ive washed and dried this faja and it is still spectacular. I actually need to size down to a size small now but the price is a little more expensive than when I bought the medium so I am hoping I can take this one to get taken in by a seemstress lol. MY ORIGINAL REVIEW ***** If you are going to take a risk and order a faja on amazon, order this one! For reference, I am 5'7 and 200 lbs. Post op from a bbl lipo 360 measurements 33 waist and 50 hips.. I purchased a MEDIUM and it fit as it should! PROS: - The crotch part actually covers and compresses the fupa. As opposed to my previous faja that use to make it stick out oddly! - Makes your shape look amazing!!!!! - The butt part is a decent size and shaped nicely. It also covers all the booty completely so no miley cyrus chicken butt lol. - The straps are removable so you can switch them out for transparent ones and use your faja for off the shoulder tops or cute outfits. - The thigh part is a decent lenght to compress and cover my saggy inner thighs! CONS: - The thigh part feels like its one step away from rolling up. It has that thing that is supposed to help it stay but I dont know girls.. I keep having to pull it a little more down because it feels like its going to roll up! - The straps are probably going to need to get replaced by some heavier duty ones because they have already snapped twice while I tried to adjust the faja and I had to make the little clasps flat again because they got deformed. All in all, one of the best fajas on amazon. Feels super comfortable and makes me feel confident in knowing I am compressing my waist as I should. BTW I am a month post op, this is a Stage 2 faja and I wear mine with foams inside& it still fits! :)

IT WILL FIT!!
My lymphatic massage lady who is from Columbia recommended this Faja. It’s perfect. Great quality. I didn't believe I'd fit into this because it seems so small and the fabric is so strong that you don't think it'll stretch, but it did. As I'm only 5 weeks post-op TT, flank and lower back lipo, I worked my way in slowly and gently. I got in the first time by having my husband pull the back out over my butt. I didn't need him to help me in the second time; you just have to break it in a little the first time. I could not fit in my lipo foam in there, only my abdominal board and lumbar board. I also couldn’t clip it up all the way because my torso isn’t that long. So I left 2 open at the top and folded under. The V area is the main drawback to this faja in my opinion. It's far too small and squeezes my lady bits out through the opening (sorry, TMI). It's quite uncomfortable! To fix this, I inserted a 5x9 gauze pad (or a Maxi pad will do) inside the opening once I got it on so my girl wouldn't fall out. Lol I also HIGHLY suggest getting a pee funnel because it is a LIFESAVER and you won't have to worry about soiling your faja since the opening isn't wide enough (at least not for my liking). Aside from that, this holds and compresses REALLY well. My measurements: I’m 5’7, 140, 27” waist, 40” hips, I ordered a S

Great Post OP swelling faja
I ordered this due to the fact i am on week 3 of mommy makeover. My swelling is starting to slowly go down and i was given the advice to try to wear a better compression garment to heal a little more comfortable. I already owe three small ones and they’re so big on my waist but fit just right on my hips. I was nervious about ordering this one in an X-small due to the comments..But i took the risk. It wasnt as hard to put on as the comments had said if your already used to dealing with fajas. Don’t add the straps on until last and loosen them up you don’t want the pressure to snap them. The material is pretty good at first i was like “oh crap is this going to stretch and fit me!” But it did . The compression is just right and just what you can expect from authentic Colombian fajas. I don’t like it when it’s stretchy. Fajas arent meant to be loose or stretchy when they’re supposed to mold and shape up.. or im my case help compress. The faja has cooler material so I don’t see so much sweat occuring which is bad for infection. I really reccomend this faja! I am currently 127 lbs 36C I don’t know my measurements I just measured with dollars. According to the dollar bill measuring i was supposed to go for a small but I want compression and to be able to continue using it after more swelling goes down so i took it in an Xsmall. Can’t see it under clothes even with foams. It doesn’t ride up thanks to the legs bc of the silicone around it.

What they dont tell you (bathroom usage)...
So I don't really write reviews, but as I sit here at work without taking a proper breathe since I put this thing on I realize I have some things to say! Pros 1. It holds things together nicely - So I am prepping for my wedding in a couple of months... Cancun here I come! I have lost 35 pounds which means I am ready for the next step. I have been using waist trainers for a while, and somehow now I have this weird love handles by my bra line (where the trainer starts) and by my panty line (where the waist trainer ends. I have always been scared of this kind of fajas because I got thighs for days, but somehow it fits! 2. It's true to size - I weight 180 now about 5'3" and order a medium. Again I can't breathe properly, but that is the cost for a nice body I guess. I have others that force me to take them off in the middle of the day. This one, I am actually able to wear the whole day. 3. Curves hunger - Well damn all my stuff is so tight that I cant hardly drink water! One little thing to eat and I feel full... now it might be my imagination, but that is the way it has been working right now. 4. Seamless - it is pretty seamless I mean there is the zipper in the front but what did you expect and you can see it a little in your thighs but again I got thighs for days so I am just happy is not cutting through my skin. Cons 1. the butt - it shapes your butt into this bubble butt idea... I don't know how I feel about it. I am dying to ask someone how they feel about my butt on this but that is not the type of conversation you have at work. 2. Bathroom - so... there is a hole down there for you to be able to go... am I expected not to wear undies with this? Because I tried and the seams just felt weird against my delicates. So... I #1 with it on... just hold your undies to the side and go (yes i am lazy! plus putting this on is a pain so forgive me for trying to make my life easy) that kinda worked... feels weird and I am always scared I am going to pee all around the hole but that hasn't happen this far. Now #2 well yeah there is not pushing undies to the side on this one... have not tried, will not try. For that take it all off make sure you got time cause it takes a while to unclasp the bra part and then a lot of force to take it through hips. Then you can't really open your legs so you are #2ing this your legs fully closed (sorry for the visual). And then there is the putting it on... that is some good sweat right there. Overall I really like the fit and I think it is worth the bathroom mishaps.

Diane & Geordi is a great brand for fajas-- this is the 2nd style I have used!
I purchased this Diane & Geordi liposuction compression garment – style # 2397 to use after I had liposuction and smart lipo on my abdomen, flanks, bra back fat, inner/outer thighs and knees on April 10, 2019. This garment was the longest one I found and I preferred the fabric and closure to other brands that you can purchase on Amazon. This garment stops above the knee. I ended up putting this on 48 hours after my surgery because my surgeon said I could. I found the garment to be more comfortable than the ace bandages that I was sent home with. **Please ask your surgeon when you can wear this garment.** This is my second round of lipo so I planned ahead and bought this a few weeks before my surgery. I do not think this garment offers much compression on your back and after wearing it for about 1 week I found it to become loose at the bottom on both legs. There are extenders in the package that you can connect to the straps which is GREAT and I needed them to make this more comfortable. I think this garment offers great compression on your abdomen/flank area as well as upper thighs. I wash this garment in a laundry bag and hang to dry. There IS a crotch hole if you choose to use that feature (I do not—the idea of sitting on the toilet with this and then laying in bed grosses me out) and it’s pretty long and wide compared to the crotch hole on some of their other styles. Like my other Diane & Geordi fajas, this particular faja has been significant when it comes to healing from my recent surgery. I already have 3 DIANE & GEORDI brand fajas – style # 2396. The length of that style ends on your upper thigh. That style is good if you only have to compress your abdomen and flank area in my opinion. That’s what I wore in November 2018 after having liposuction and smart lipo done on my abdomen, flanks and bra fat. I wear “Lateral Protectors” (they’re foam boards) with BOTH styles of the Diane & Geordi faja to help make them comfortable. I put the lateral protectors on my sides horizontally and then I place two disposable surgical pads (found at Walmart) directly underneath the snap/zipper closure because I find that hardware irritates my skin after a while. If I find I need more cushion, I just use more disposable surgical pads. I was unable to fit an abdomen board underneath both styles… it was just too tight and uncomfortable. Search the term “lateral protectors” to get those. I wash them in a laundry bag and hang to dry. I actually bought 4 total and have used a lateral protector underneath the snap/zipper closure instead of surgical pads a few times. I HIGHLY recommend this accessory for any faja purchase.

probably for larger people and those who have had surgeries--not shapewear for those who just need a little smoothing
I ultimately returned this. I am small and pretty slim, have not had any sort of surgery or posture problems (but have had a few kids so my figure can stand some assistance), and as-such I'm thinking these types are garments are overkill for my needs. I love that they combine everything you want: thigh smoothing, tummy flattening, and bust lift. In my search for all-in-one shapewear on Amazon, I came across Spanish-labeled shapewear garments (usually with something like "fajas" in the title) which seemed much more comprehensive than others I was seeing, so I ordered a few to try. All of them are ultimately going back. While they have all these great features, 1) none of them are designed to work for women with short torsos (a common problem in shapewear--it's typically not for petite people and will fold badly at the waist because the torso is cut too long); & 2) they don't really provide the shaping I want (maybe I'm too small?) while having all the inconveniences of heavy-duty high-powered shapewear. I don't really need armor, just some smoothing. One other note: proportionately, I'm going to hazard a guess that South American women have thicker thighs. For how much compression the rest of this garment offers, the thighs are much looser and definitely not compressive. If you look at the models for these garments, too, you'll notice they have much sturdier hips than the average US/European model used in advertising nowadays.

The real deal!
When I took this garment out the bag it looked quite small and I was prepared for a struggle to put it on. However, with less effort than I anticipated it went on with only 2 wiggles. My waist measurements fell within a medium yet my hips fell within the large sizing according to their sizing chart. I went with the hips and ordered a large and it fits very close to perfect. The straps are detachable yet I would never wear it without the straps becasue once you remove them the parts that connected to it just hangs. So, I would not recommend this if you want to wear it strapless. The material is great and has nice snap back compression. I suppose this is why it fits my hips yet still has enough compression to snatch my waist. It has a very slight gather in my lower back but no where near the bunching in the waist as other garments I have tried. The butt portion has a nice non compression material that goes from hip to hip across the back versus just being in the middle section of the garment. It's hard to see what I mean in the photo. On me when the soft portion is just the center of the butt it can flatten some parts and the center butt protrudes just a little more through the soft portion. The styling of this garment does not smoosh ANY part of my butt at all; it does round and shapes it out very nicely. So ladies no worries on butt flatting! The thigh portion has compression as well and the bottom portion has lace trim that has some kind of sticky film around the inside (does NOT leave anything on the skin) that keeps the trim flat and prevents roll ups. AFTER A FEW DAYS THE LEGS START ROLLING AND IT IS SLIGHTLY COMFORTABLE. IF IT WERE NOT FOR ROLLONG AT THE LEG I WOULD RATE THIS GARMENT 5 stars. I placed small slits around the legs to stop the rolling however it still does it. The crotch opening on me is a tad off, like it should be slit 1/2 inch or so further to the front to actually be useful. Really like!
