We just replaced our front doors. The Astragal on the doors that were being replaced was a p.o.s., so I decided to build my own. The original had the sliding tabs design for extending/withdrawing the door bolts. Those are only good for breaking fingernails. The lever action was what drew me to the Muluo latches. They are really well made, and have a smooth easy action. I would recommend to anyone in the market these.

Latch worked very well for my cabinet. Used as a hidden “lock” behind a fake drawer. Operates nicely.

Superior to old "push" pin locks. This is not an especially sturdy lock, but stainless steel construction seems strong enough.

First time installing one of these - quality was good enough - and it works well, slides with ease. I will buy again when i need to.

Easy to install, if you have sharp chisels and an accommodating door. Go slow, cut smaller and enlarge as you go. A to scale layout paper might have been nice.That little cylinder that mounts in the floor is just lovely. Spring loaded so when the door is open, there is no exposed hole in the floor.
