Q: how long to brew with gas stove ?

Brew until all the liquid coffee is in upper chamber. The upper chamber pipe’s spout will emit a burbling sound. Gingerly lift the lid and you will see the coffee coming up. When it is done burbling up and the upper chamber is filled, turn off flame and serve. With this special edition alpina, I would advise not to use it. Keep it as a special keepsake on display in the credenza. Be practical and buy a regular 6 cup moka for daily use. - you get your money’s worth time and again and you do not have to worry of any wear and tear on your alpina model. This is what I do. And if you have company get an 8 cup model. I use my 6 cup moka every day. My alpina stays pristine in on display in my credenza. Hope this advice helps.

The greenish color. Pale turquoise, maybe?

Q: Is this supposed to come with instructions? Mine did not.

Yes, it should have. You can go online and search “ Bialetti Stovetop Espresso Maker instruction” and will find results including Youtube videos. Do Not wash with soap and water, but rinse well with water after each use.

Q: Is this item available in the 6-cup size?

Hello.... Unfortunately the Moka Alpina is ONLY made in a 3 Cup....and it’s limited edition and supply... It’s a wonderful pot and looks great on any counter....It’s in my top 3 all time from Bialetti!! But I kind of also would have liked a 6 Cup Model... Any questions feel free to ask!
