Don't waste your money and time on this rubbish. It doesn't stick to anything. When you call 3M they tell you it needs an accelerant too. It shouldn't need an accelerant it should just work as advertised. 3M are normally good but this product is terrible. Many others have given it 1 star for the same reason.

It’s tricky to write a review for sticky tape that is recommended for led light strips apart from saying yes, it works. It was the correct width to match my roll of led strip, the (what felt like) very sticky adhesive was indeed very sticky on both sides and so far, (albeit after only a month) is still stuck to the wall in a fairly warm conservatory.

If used correctly this product is fantastic, all the negative reviews saying this doesn't work aren't using it correctly, I used it to fix the rubber door seal on my Ford and its worked perfectly. You need to apply it to the surface straight from the roll then LEAVE it for the given time, 48 hours for full adhesion, then unpeel the top layer (the red strip) the stick whatever it is onto it. I followed the instructions and it's worked a dream.

This product was a waste of money it would not stick the items I bought it for Nd the items are not even heavy or big took ages to get the backing off that's probably the stickiest it's been

i purchased this to replace the “3m tape” that came on a set of wind deflectors and carbon parts for my car, its been on nearly 4 months and nothings budged whatsoever. withstanding rain, freezing cold weather and motorway speeds. definitely would get again

Gave up after 10 minutes of trying to peel of the red backing, nightmare. Will use a cheaper alternative, surprised as 3M usually leaders in their products.Also random razor blade hidden in unable sheaf a bit dangerous.

I'd read the bad reviews but thought I knew better. This tape is definitely suspect it comes in a plain clear bag with no branding and is far from the quality I've come to expect from 3M products. Definitely won't buy this again

I didn't realize this was not a clear double sided tape but a black soft gel type. Adhesion is not as strong as the tesa tape I have been using either. It will get used at sometime but I was disappointed....C'est la vie!!
