Smells Identical / Great Dupe
If you’re a fan of Le Labo’s Santal, you will not be disappointed with this! Le Labo smells great but the price point isn’t it. I wanted my house to smell like I did, but I couldn’t justify the $140 price tag that they wanted for their room spray. I found this and saw the reviews were good so I gave it a shot and decided to make my own. I am SO happy I bought this product. It’s practically identical! I mixed about 30 or so drops of this oil with distilled water and witch hazel. I spray it everywhere, my sheets included. I’ve never had any adverse reactions to mixture and now my house smells like a high end spa for a FRACTION of what I would have spent buying the name brand room spray.

Iffy at first now I can’t live with out
I wasn’t sure I liked this at first smelled real herbal like. But I made a room spray with equal parts water and alcohol. I made a great room spray that I have come to just adore. I just ordered my second bottle today. It does come out fast so watch that. I didn’t realize it did so I did go thru it quicker than expected but I know better now. I really want to order the Santal. But I’ll do that next month.

smells like it's trying too hard ...
[Santal / 0.33oz / $19.99] I wish senselabs had a storefront where one could sample-smell what's available as I'm sure there are lots that are fantastic — I did not find this one to be fantastic, though. it's pungent — with a sharp cedar-ish / syrupy-vetiver-ish undertone that makes is almost unfriendly and very in-your-face.it's like it's trying to smell fancy yet at the same time be earthy... it's hard to describe, but it's like a "poser" of fragrances. if it was 1/2 the price, it'd be more acceptable across the board, but at this price, an instant nose-gasm is expected and that didn't happen here — instead it was a bit an an "oh -- ok" versus an "OOOh!".others obviously like it, but it's too self-conscious for me ... like the old aveda store smell ... tries a bit too hard to get your attention and be subtle at the same time.TL;DR: this one needs a bit or musk or patchouli to soften it.

Diffuse it and bathe in it
Santal is my favorite diffusing smell. I even wear it as a perfume. Of all the oils I diffuse sandal gets the most compliments. It gives my Spa an upscale vibe. It’s a warm and inviting flavor. It draws you in! Many clients have asked me about it. And now they purchased it as well by far my favorite.

Great scent that's slightly artificial
Overall a very nice scent that is strong but not overpowering when used correctly. There is a hint of artificial, almost plastic-like smell, but it's relatively subtle. However, I noticed this plastic-like smell varies across batches. I have ordered this 3 times and each time this artificial plastic smell differs - the first order it was very strong, 2nd order less strong, 3rd order somewhere in between. So there's some inconsistency in the smell. But overall it's nice and I will be ordering again.
