Amazing Grass Green Superfood Chocolate Drink Powder 8.5 Oz.

I have been mixing this in my protein shake for years. Mixes well and a good flavor.

I love this stuff: I love the taste, texture and how it works. I use this (the chocolate and berry flavors) almost every day, and have done so for well over six months now. I've found it mixes easily - probably because I use a power mixer - and actually tastes good - UNLIKE Perfect Food brand superfood which tastes and smells like eating rotten grass (IMHO). This Greens Blend superfood actually smells and tastes good. The best part - and I realize this is a family channel so I'll try and keep this clean - is the effect regular use of the greens blend on the "plumbing". I've found that regular use of this particular superfood - Amazing Greens Blend - keeps everything running smoothly without prompting any crazy reactions. Other brands of superfood - particularly the Perfect Food brand - have gummed up the works, at least for me. Not so with Amazing Grass Greens Blend - all of the benefits, none of the digestive downsides.

Great product. Although about the same nutritional value as Nestle Nesquik which tastes a lot better. Comparing the two brands, shows they have differing vitamins and minerals. I mix both together.

I bought this because I got caught up on the rage of greens that you can drink. I honestly was skeptical that this would be any good. It has been two weeks now since I got this. I have always skipped breakfast and fasted until noontime. But I've been "sipping" this all morning at work. It keeps me satiated for food and I honestly can feel a difference in my guts. I am thinking the greens are doing their magic. PS - I never ever ate enough vegetables. I'm a meat and potato guy so I know I need to either eat more veggies or drink this stuff. I was willing to choke this down to avoid eating vegetables more often but honestly the taste of this chocolate stuff is not half bad. I must say it has grown on me and I'm actually good with it. I keep it refrigerated until use. I make one up each night before bed so it is in the fridge and grab and go in the morning.

I just looked back and I’ve purchased this 54 times. Lol. So probably more than 10 years… I actually love the way it tastes because mix it in a blender with two bananas, some peanut butter, and some almond milk. Sometimes I’ll put some frozen fruit in there as well. I started using it because I realized I didn’t have enough veggies in my diet. I don’t use it to fully replace my veggies, but it has been a great way to get some more nutrients in me. It also seems to help with my digestive system being more regular. And yes, I believe my energy level is higher with this. What sold me is that I was in Whole Foods probably 10 years or more ago, and I met one of the Kansas farmers that was helping make this. It was convincing talking with him. Since then, the company has been bought out by someone else, and I do think the content changed at least for a while…. The appearance of the blend seen a darker, maybe? But my body has never reacted differently. I still love it. (They did face a lawsuit back in 2019 regarding the amount of heavy metals in some of their products, but the company supposedly took action and discontinued certain products and met whatever standards were needed… from what I’ve heard.) I do one smoothie a day in the morning. When I was weaning myself off of dessert, I used this as a dessert, a way to have some sweetness in my diet but not adding all of the junk food. So I’m pretty sure I’ve used this for over 10 years, going through one tub every two months. I just do one scoop a day.
