A small book at only 40 pages long but despite this, it is wonderfully researched giving every detail possible about the creation of the first ever FA CUP. Only 15 teams entered , including one from Scotland, Queens Park. Apart from the historic teams such as the Wanderers and the Royal Engineers, it’s amazing to discover teams such as the Civil Service and Reigate Priory and there was even an entrant from Donnington School, near Boston, Lincolnshire.
