Safe, Efficient, Effective Car Storage
I love this storage cover. The outdoor car container allows me to keep my classic cars at home, accessible for use, at any time. It is easy to use, and very durable.

So far so good
I moved my 1972 Triumph Spitfire from my mother’s garage to my house but I don’t have garage space for it, this looked to be a possible answer. I figured that renting a storage unit to keep the car in would be my only other option as I did not want to leave the car outside. I would only be able to rent a storage unit for 4 to 5 months for what this cost me so I thought that it was the way to go.It was an easy setup and it seems sturdy. The Spitfire does drip some oil so I put a flat pan and some cardboard under the car as I don’t know if the oil will affect the material. I also put a cover over the car so that when pulling the bubble over the car, the paint wouldn’t get scratched. The bubble has 6 D-rings to allow for attachment to the ground. The instructions say that the bubble can withstand 22 MPH winds, I assume that is without using the tie-downs. I bought ground anchors and made 6 tie-downs out of 1/4” nylon rope with a steel snap ring at each end. During winter here we get winds far in excess of 22 MPH so I’ll see how the bubble holds up.A plus for the bubble over a storage unit is that the bubble will keep out rodents. Time will tell if this purchase works out well for me and the car.

So far so good
I live in New England and I needed this to store my car for the winter. I installed it on my side lawn. The next weekend we have a nor’easter with winds up to 50 mph. It took the wind fine without a problem. It is a pricey investment but the car is safe. So far I’m very happy with this product.

Good protection, not so good for daily use.
This is a heavy duty cover for the car and helps it resist impact damage like hail. I used it during the last hurricane incase any debris went flying at my vehicle. It is made from a very sturdy material and I haven't had any issues with it coming apart other than the pull tabs on the zippers coming off. I added my own longer pull string to the zippers to make it easier on my back when going around the bottom and zipping it up.The anchor points on the top made it easy to secure it during the hurricane so the wind wouldn't affect it as much (it did pretty good anyways considering it has curved edges that don't catch the wind. The only downside I have found is that since it is so heavy duty it is kind of hard to roll it up on your own and avoid dragging it across your car. For normal trucks it's probably fine but if you have a nice car and you don't want swirls in your clear coat it's hard to avoid. The zipper teeth will get dragged across your car surface as you try to pull the top back. I wish that maybe it had some kind of soft lip on the inside to prevent this. As such it's not a good solution if you want to take the car out daily or even weekly. I'm trying to come up with some type of device or system to help pull the top part off and over without sliding across the vehicle.

Well built and heavy duty
I have had one for two+ years, and store a classic car outdoors due to space limitations. It has been through wind, hail, 12 to 110 degree+ temps and ice. No issues. Several times it has protected the car from hail, debris, small branches, etc. I have looked at all of the available alternatives, and other than an actual garage, this is the best option. Note that it is heavy due to the material used. So I am always careful to roll it evenly on and off. Easy for one person to handle. Also, the directions clearly state to use your regular car cover, even while in the bubble. So, I use my cloth regular dust cover and have never had any paint or marring issues. Takes about 10 minutes to put on the cloth cover, position the bubble, zip it up and plug it in. Regarding others comments about condensation, the concept here is that the movement of air via the inflating/ventilation fans, keep the car at the same temp and humidity level as the surrounding air. So no condensation of the car via changing temps (think of your cold glass on an hot day). But if it is very humid outside your car will be very humid inside. However, unlike waterproof heavy covers that trap that humid air underneath, here the fans blow it out as the weather dries out. Not perfect, but much better than water proof covers which trap the humidity until you uncover it. And if you really want no humidity you are going to have to get an airconditioned garage. Finally, after 2+ years, mine shows no wear or indication that its days are numbered. Not an easy accomplishment in harsh Texas weather.

Damaged paint in multiple areas
The PVC scarred the paint on my car in the places it touched after deflating. It seems that after being exposed to moderate sunlight, the cover got hot enough to burn the cover's pattern into the car's paint. Maybe cooling off the cover with water first might have avoided this issue, but it's too late for that.Even if it didn't damage the paint, the process of covering the car is risky. The cover is heavy; which causes it to drag across the top of the car, which increases the risk that the zippers come in contact with paint. If you use this bubble, I would strongly recommend another breathable cover on the car that can protect the car from the bubble.
