This is a very good hot chocolate, with actual pieces of chocolate in it.

It is a very rich hot chocolate and if you want it less sweet use less powder. If you want dark bitter hot chocolate like others in the reviews just use regular valrohna cacao powder, there's a recipe on the box.

And too sweet… expected a European richness… not one catering to sweeter palates.

I don't buy this stuff that often, so I can't compare to other products. That being said, it was delicious. Chocolate was rich. Not a big package, but that's okay. I'll drink hot chocolate maybe a couple times a year, so I'm okay with the size. Yes, i would buy it again.

This is the first time I am disappointed by Valrhona. I usually love all their products so i was really looking forward trying this new one. This hot chocolate sweet mix is just too sweet. It has 22g of sugar. I know it says sweet but it's just too sweet.

Have used Valrhona products before but had never tried the Hot Chocolate mix. I was so disappointed with this hot chocolate. The chocolate itself is not very rich in flavor & it tasted as if it is primarily made with sugar. Incredibly sweet & on a scale with cheap major store brand hot chocolate mixes. Such a waste of time & flavor and does not do justice to Valrhona products.

I was hoping for REAL Dark flavor. Instead I got VERY sweet chocolate that really doesn’t taste dark at all.
