I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because my hands did feel a bit softer after applying, but that is the best thing I can say about this cream. I bought it hoping to find a suitable replacement for my all-time favorite that has sadly gone out of production, and this isn't it. I should have just spent a few more bucks and gone with L'Occitane. I love cinnamon, and I frequently use fresh cinnamon stick and orange peels as well as good quality cinnamon bark oil to make home fragrances. This cream is obviously scented with very cheap imitation cinnamon oil, because it does not have the lovely, warm aroma of real cinnamon. It has the cloying, almost metallic scent of dollar store air fresheners. It gives me a terrible headache, and unfortunately this smell, while not extremely strong, has excellent staying power. I had to smell this crap on my hands for hours, even after washing with soap. If you aren't very particular about quality fragrances and just want a shea butter hand cream that comes in lots of smells, this might be fine for you, but I suspect that the type of person who would be happy with this would be just as happy with something cheaper. If you're looking for the type of elegant cosmetic experience that one typically expects from a product with "made in France" on the label, this isn't it. I would never buy again, I wouldn't recommend it to a friend, sure as heck wouldn't give it as a gift, and actually will end up returning it because I physically cannot tolerate it.

I purchased the cinnamon orange scent. I love the scent! I wear it frequently in cooler weather as it softens my hands better than other lotions. It also heals any cracks in the skin as the lotion is very thick and had Shea butter. It is a very small tube, so pricey due to the size. However, the value is good since it really helps heal my skin. I definitely would purchase again (and will). I would and will recommend to a friend.

I received the coconut-scented lotion as a gift a few weeks ago, and liked it so much I decided to buy more lotion in different scents. I really like how rich but not greasy this lotion is. Unfortunately, the cinnamon-orange made my head ache horribly, and I had to give it to my mom, who loves it. The almond smells just as good as the coconut, and neither of them make my head hurt. The only downside to this lotion is that it's a bit expensive for a small tube, but I'm sure I'll buy more anyway, because it smells and feels so good.
