Works for MHC-GX555 Sony System as well.
Originally bought this for Sony MHC-GX450 (2004 Model)which I have. It works for that particular system.However I bought another one which is one year newer system MHC-GX555 (2005 Model) with total 460W audio output system. And it works for that as well. Excellent product it does what it is supposed to.I would ask listing agent here as well as the manufacturer of this product to include MHC-GX555 to the description for this product since it worked for that system as well. Just helping Sony community if they wanted to buy this for their old gold system.

I works with my old Sony stereo
I purchased a used Sony MINI HIFI MHC- EC50 stereo at the local thrift store and never thought I'd be able to use it without manually pushing buttons. Works well for basic functionality. Nice price, best of all it just works and that all that I needed it to do!

cap won’t stay on
Idk why cap won’t stay on the back and it feels so flimsy.

Worked perfect for our needs
My son bought a used Sony stereo at a garage sale and wanted to hook his tablet up to it and play music from Spotify. The Sony stereo will only go into MD mode using the remote. Ordered this remote and it works perfectly with his radio and he's thrilled!
