The trim chambers on the WFT2 use slip fit bearing with a groove cut for an O-ring which creates a press fit. Changing out trim chambers is accomplished by removing the cutter and pushing out the trim chamber with the knock-out dowel that is provided. Installing the trim chamber is accomplished by setting the trim chamber on a flat surface and steadily pushing the housing onto the trim chamber. Setting the cutter depth is easily adjusted by placing a “master case” in the trim chamber and sliding the cutter up to the case mouth and tightening down the set screws. Trimming is just as precise and clean as with the original WFT. The trim chamber selection on the WFT 2 is by specific cartridge, but still trims by case family-just order the largest chamber in the family that you intend to trim.

Great Trimmer - BUT it takes a little time to set it when changing out calibers.
It works very well. Cases are trimmed beautifully. It takes a few try's to get the shell casing length you want (more of a trial and error), but once it's set, you are good to go until you change calibers. I never used the original Worlds Finest Trimmer which is set and forget for one caliber only. It would be great if with the WGT2 there was a way to micro adjust versus loosening set screws, because when you change calibers your going to have to go through the entire trial and error process again. At least with the original, get it set and it's done. Overall if you don't mind the trail and error system, it's a great system and works well. The trim is absolutely perfectly flat and clean. I put mine on an old Sears 10" drill press and it runs so fast you can easily do 6-8 shells per minute.

56 trimmer -already have the base unit and it works like a charm
Needed a 5.56 trimmer -already have the base unit and it works like a charm.Set to the amount you need to have the trimmed cases come out as and forget it.Very nice hand held system. There are others out there that also work but for the money and speed and reproducibility. the WFT is a good choice.

The easiest and most consistently accurate trimmer I've ever used ...
The easiest and most consistently accurate trimmer I've ever used. Put it in an electric drill and they trim quickly. However, the cases still need to be chamfered after trimming. I initially balked at the price, but now that I have the housing I can change out trimmer inserts for other cartridge sizes. 30.06 cases can be re-necked and trimmed for use as a .270 cartridge. This trimmer makes fast work of the conversion.

Love it!
Love the new WFT that I can just switch these chambers out. I have one for .223 and .30-06 and they both go in easy and work great. The only problem is that every time I have to switch the chamber I have to adjust the cutter which is a bear in itself for me.

My 4th trim chamber from Little Crow
I wouldn't keep buying these if I didn't really like this product. This is a great, easy to use trimming system that reloaders should own, no doubt. Using the shoulder for trimming is simple and effective, and the tool is very well made. Makes short work of the tedious task of brass trimming. I think my only real gripe with it is not having some type of marks on the drill bit to indicate changes in cutting depth- that's not a knock on this particular piece, just of the system in general. Other than that however, super product.

Perfect if speed and precision appeal to you.
When I bought this I owned 2 Forster case trimmers with one powered by the hand crank and one by a lithium ion powered driver. They both worked fine as designed but I liked the look of the WFT2 and decided to buy it. I'm happy that I did. I didn't like the idea of the WFT original because changing calibers meant buying a complete new cutter. The idea of buying individual caliber specific inserts for the WFT2 seemed more sensible, and even at almost half the cost of a new trimmer, it still made economic sense. I was skeptical of the need for a 1/2 inch shank on this new cutter but I believe it helps the cutter run more true to the centerline of the shaft which makes the cutter more smooth and with little to no runout. The bearing that supports the body of the case as it is inserted protects the brass from abrasion and the finished cut is smoother than any cutter I have used and perfectly square.. It requires less chamfering after trimming which saves time and wear on my chamfering tools. Very easy to set up for each cartridge. One thing that makes things easier over time is to create a template cartridge for each caliber you trim. I use my Forster cutter to "sneak up" on the exact finished length I want my cases to be, then create one well marked case for each caliber. When you switch, just use your dummy cartridge to adjust and off you go. This may not be for everyone however. If you only trim 100 cases per month or less, the speed factor may not make this the most economical trimmer. If you do a lot of cases and your time is valuable, this cutter will pay for itself in time saved in no time. I have 4 AR's in multiple calibers for competition and as most know the gas guns are pretty hard on brass so trimming happens much more often than with bolt guns so I find this trimmer the easiest and fastest and arguably the best on the market when precision, ease of setup and time savings are all considered. You can perfectly trim a bucket of brass in no time.

Awesome Timesaving Tool
I really love my Worlds Finest Trimmer 2. It makes trimming thousands of rifle cases at a time a breeze & trmendously reduces the amount of time it would normally take. I don't have to worry about over-trimming & measuring. It does take a little time to set up, but it's well worth it to me.
