Curing Cancer with Carrots

I was recently diagnosed with colon cancer that has spread to my liver. To say my world seemed to stop in it's orbit does little to really express the experience of what it felt like to more or less receive a death sentence, when my oncologist told me that without the chemo, I had maybe 6 months to live, and with it, maybe the treatment could give me an extension of a year and a half to two years. Knowing enough about the side effects of chemotherapy, I could imagine what those "possible" two years might find me having to endure. So, I said, "no thank you...I'll look into alternative protocols." A month later, after much research and still uncertain about which of the many protocols to try, my daughter, Jan, who was helping me with the research, sent me a link that led me to Ann Cameron, and her wonderful book, "Curing Cancer With Carrots." We both felt as if we'd been on a very long flight to some unknown destination, and the plane finally landed! What a book! From the first to the last page, I was left with no unanswered questions. I am totally amazed at this writer's ability to take a subject and cover every single aspect with upmost clarity, and still make it easy to read and understand. Having lost my father and both brothers to cancer, I believed there must be some genetic predisposition that found me with this disease. But after reading Ann's book I saw this was not so. However, as a family, the environment, how we lived, ate, slept, reacted,..... all that we carried with us, had everything to do with it! Clearly, cancer isn't just a disease anyone can get. It is, however, as Ann points out, one we can bring on ourselves. One's first realization is, there are many changes one must make in order to affect a cure. At this point in time, I have been working at making many changes from how and what I eat, to getting the right amount of sleep, at the right hours, and finding time for exercise. The first thing I did was buy a good juicer, and my grocer provides me with 25 lb. bags of organic carrots, twice a week. What a blessing! But being led to Ann's book was the first blessing of many! I am so grateful for this book, and her story of how she cured her cancer with carrots. My faith abounds! But I am most grateful, that she followed her heart, and cared enough to bring others to the truth that regardless of what the medical profession might tell us, a cure really can be as simple as carrots!! I will be grabbing up as many copies of this book that I can get my hands on, to give as gifts to family and friends! What better gift to give, than a book that tells it all, and from the writer's personal experience, explaining how to beat cancer, stopping it in it's tracks! Thank you Ann Cameron!

I love this book. She juiced 5 lbs. of carrots a day to get 5 cups of carrot juice. She drank that and it cured her cancer that had come back. She also talks about why carrots are SO healthy and how they don't destroy the cancer but they make our immune system so much better, that the immune system destroys the cancer. This was a very good book and I recommend it to anyone who wants to protect themselves from cancer or anyone who has cancer. She ate anything else she wanted, but just drank the 5 cups of carrot juice as her medicinal food. Such an easy thing to do! However, beware that if you are on chemo or radiation, you may feel nauseated and it will be hard to drink the carrot juice. You must be brave when you are diagnosed to not take chemo or radiation, but to just drink the carrot juice. I have friends that can't drink the carrot juice, even though they have an incurable cancer. They are hoping they will live though their cancer, since they know 2 others who have lived. Everyone needs to make their own decision, and may God bless all those who are dealing with that horrible cancer! This book is very good to read!

The author has done an excellent service. Curing Cancer with Carrots is a truly outstanding and practical book. It is a very balanced account and well referenced in the scientific and medical literature. I am an emeritus professor of biochemistry in a college of medicine. I am accustomed to reading the biochemical and medical literature. She points out several dramatic differences between the mechanism of therapy that chemotherapy promotes compared with that promoted by agents in carrots and why the high levels of carrots are needed. The author points out problems with chemotherapy data. Survival statistics suggest chemotherapy to be more effective than it actually is if a longer life (that is, death by all causes not just by the cancer) is the main criterion. Furthermore, she points out that in an article in USA Today, it was mentioned that of the 13 cancer treatments approved by the FDA in 2012, only one led to six months longer survival. All drugs cost more than $5900 per month. She also points out why chemotherapy and radiation therapy sow the seeds of destruction for the longer term. I have never seen this pointed out so incisively in any other book, and I have read quite a few. She offers good advice for dealing with potential huge costs for those choosing to undergo chemotherapy. She points out that the oncologist may stand to profit a lot for prescribing chemotherapeutic agents. Thus, getting alternatives prescribed may be an uphill climb but with the advice given here, not impossible. However, sometimes high costs are unavoidable. The author mentions a strategy for avoiding a huge credit card debt and potential bankruptcy. She also offers a lot of sound, practical advice for undertaking an investigation of alternative methods of dealing with cancer. Finally, she presents several examples of cures of different cancers using the carrots method.

EXCELLENT BOOK

Curing Cancer with Carrots is a well-written, QUICK read. I love the stories and format. I would HIGHLY recommend purchasing this book and educating yourself in this way to naturally assist your body to cure cancer. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed in purchasing this book. Equipping yourself with knowledge in one of over 3,000 natural remedies/ways to help your body heal itself of cancer is very empowering. This is just one way, but used daily with Ann's directions, will allow your body to feel a difference in just a short amount of time.

Good book to start out with. Fast read and gets you going. Buy a juicer and keep reading, youtubing, and find videos to carry you in the direction you should be going

This book covers the subject very well on how to cure cancer with carrots, how to do it and how long it will take. It has inspired me to try it and I have only been on the juice for a couple of weeks, but it has increased my energy somewhat, and I really enjoy drinking the juice. I have added some celery as she suggested. I hope to continue with it and am hoping for good results, I have breast cancer, that has spread to my lymph nodes.
