SIMPLI-MAGIC79171 Terry Cleaning Cloths, 12"x12", White, 50 Pack

They're 12x12 new, out of packaging, but on the first wash and dry they shrank to about 9x9. That's with a cold wash cycle and the dryer on low heat as instructed by the product description. I've bought terry towels before and expected maybe half an inch or an inch shrinkage on each side, but 3 inches is wild. All that said, at ~50c a piece, should I really have expected any different?

We use them in a custodial setting. They are OK for wiping cleaner around and surface dirt, but not great at soaking up liquids. Cheap enough to not be upset if it gets stained and needs to be trashed though.

They shrink a lot after one wash. Size now is 9"x11".

I was horrified when I received these cloths! They are thin, you can see through them, super rough, the seams were coming apart before I washed them, the sizing was all over the place, then when I washed them in cold water on a regular cycle, they fell apart. Definitely not what I thought I was buying. I would not buy them again
