Elite Suspension Powered By Unity Elite Suspension 65003c Rear Coil Spring Replacing Air Spring including shocks 1992-2002 Ford Crown Victoria

I read the reviews and asked people and they said they weren't happy with the parts but I didn't have the money for more expensive parts so I got them anyway and believe it or not my mechanic actually had no problem installing them except for the rubber pieces which I was expecting but they got them on and in my opinion I think the car rides very nice. I'm very glad I'm not having the same problems that some unhappy people were having + my mechanic also said he's dealt with the company before and even though he told me I should have gone with more expensive parts he is also happy with the company. The only thing I could say for the people who aren't happy is it's possible they may have got the wrong parts for their vehicle

Set included GAS CHARGED shocks! Easy to remove airbags, release remaining air by stabbing old bag. Upper shock nut is a chore. Spray top nut w/ penetrating oil. Cut thru plastic boot to expose rod. Long 9/16 wrench for top nut. Vise-grips or pipe wrench rotates rod loosening top nut. Crazy glue new rubber grommet/washer/nut together, fish it to top hole & have buddy hold it down w/long wrench. Grab steel shock boot & twist new shock up to thread into nut. Check anti-sway bar, replace if bent from single bag failure.

Shocks were expanded when the package arrived, The shaft protruding from the box. I insured that all of the parts were included, since the box looked as if it were repackaged. The parts were there, per the included parts list. The installation was pretty straight forward after watching a few videos. Pro tip. drop the shocks on both sides before you try to install the springs. The rubber grommets for the bottom of the springs seemed small. The kit did the job and I am very happy with it. However, nothing could truly replace the air ride in my heart, but at least now my tailpipes don't drag on speed bumps.

This is a complete and first rate conversion kit. I purchased this kit and the front kit as well. The conversion for front AND rear, including installation by a local shop, was less than $450; actually the front is not a conversion-- simply a spring and shock replacement. The shock quality is great, the ride height is perfect, and handling is better. The ride is a little more firm on bumpy streets, but essentially the same on the interstate. This is a good product at a fair price. My car is a 2000 Lincoln Town Car.By the way, the folks at Unity are considerate, kind, and knowledgeable. They answer the phone, believe it or not.RL

Pretty easy to install; there are also videos on YouTube to assist. I did not need the shocks that came with this kit (why I rated at 4 stars.) Rides smooth, can handle loads in truck. I would highly recommend this item.

Good price. Good quality. Installed in 2000 lincoln town car to eliminate faulty air ride system. Forget about name brands, no difference.
