Chicago Review Press World War II for Kids: A History with 21 Activities

I got this for a 3rd grader who is very interested in all things war related. Some of it is over his head, but he loves it and will grow into it. Lots of neat details, great pictures, cool activities - it’s kept him busy for months. A great introduction to the war.

Well written and thorough. Great activities. My daughter wasn’t a fan of the topic so I passed it in to my friend and her son loves it and talks non stop about what he’s learned

Out of all the historical books we have gotten I can say this one is our favorite!! I cannot say enough good things about these books. It gives you a true sense of exploring the past with really easy to do projects, games and activities. I have grandchildren ages 9 and 7 and we have really enjoyed this book and the other historical books we have gotten!! The book is made well, the cover is nice and pages are large and easy to read. If you enjoy doing things with children you will really enjoy this book. Not sure what age range is recommended on this book, but after having used it I think any age range would be good. Let's face it, you get out of a book, what you are willing to put into a book. Put yourself into a book or two and ENJOY!!! Plus the kids will love it!!
