This will require a decent amount of assembly and cutting mold lines, but this is well worth the deal, it is the price of the tank alone, savings you around a hundred dollars in total. if you want build you astra militarum army quickly buy a few of these.

Came on time, exactly as expected.

No complaints only praises. All the units are excellent to have for your basics and to start with. I got into Astra Militarum because I love their tanks, and this allows you to start off with a Leman Russ, one of my favorite units! Infantry adds a nice buffer between your tanks and the enemy, the Commissar adds a nice buff to all your units, and if you decide to build a heavy weapons team for more support, I've had a lot of success with the lascannon...So, you get all these units for the price of the infantry and the tank if sold separately.If there were any complaints from me, it would be that the Leman Russ doesn't come with all the loadouts for all the different turrets, but that's the Leman Russ standard anyway from GW.I ended up buying a second one of these to build a battalion and spearhead detachment for cheaper than normal.Both shipped in perfect condition and arrived within 2 days of ordering.For new players: you still need the Astra Militarum codex and dice to play. You will also need the Core Rulebook, but I find if you play with others that are experienced players, usually someone already has that.

as far as the start collecting series of sets go, you get the most out of this hands down, with 10 guardsmen, a commissar and a leman russ tank, its cheaper to get them all together than separately. the only downside is that the guardsmen are a bit tricky to paint if you are not experienced

All of the models in this set are high quality and highly detailed. My review is so low though because a sheet of the cadian shock troops is missing so I only got 5 out of the 10 of them 😕 which is a shame as this kit cost far too much for a whole sheet of minis to be missing. I wish I had noticed this before I started building the tank.

Still one of the best Start Collecting Boxes out there and is perfect for anyone just getting into the hobby. You can build a decent army by purchasing a couple of these boxes alone. You likely won't win a tournament mind you, but you will certainly have a fun time without spending too much.
