Q: My sewer clean out pipe is flush against the foundation so the Doggie Doo top won't fit. Has anyone successfully dealt with this problem?

Yes! Mine was the same way. Go to Home Depot or another home improvement type store and purchase a 90 degree 3 or 4 inch(depending on your size clean out pipe) elbow plumbing fixture. You will also need the male threaded connector to fit your original opening and the female thread connector for the doggie doo drain. Some pvc glue and that's it. Its very simple.... Q: Do you have to use a hose to rinse down? Our hose is not near our clean out. Can I dump a bucket of water down it?

I use only a bucket of water during the winter because my hose is put away. It works fine. All your ding is rinsing off the drain. Then when you put any water such as a shower or flush a toilet, it takes the waste on down. I really like mine. Wish I would have had it years ago.

It can work on any septic that you are able to screw the unit on to

As long as the pipe goes to your sewer system and it has either a 3" of 4" coupler it should work.
