I love this thing, I use it on my ATN scope. Also it gets used to charge phones, iPad, and other things. Zero complaints. I have other battery packs that supposedly recharge via solar. They don't come close to the ATN. I also have an AGM thermal scope and I can use it for additional power if it's batteries die.

I purchased this extended battery pack for my ATN X Sight 2. Wow. This unit enables a FULL DAY of power. It comes with a nice cheek pad that houses the batter and aids in the alignment of your head and scope by elevating your cheek weld to the perfect height. The material is high-quality and the Velcro that attaches the battery holder/check pad is strong and frustration free; this package will not come lose. I did have a question as mine needed a cap-cover (typically included) and called ATN. I spoke to Oliver Vallero (they answer calls and take care of you on the spot!) and Oliver listened to, and immediately addressed my concern. He sent me the part in the mail THE SAME WEEK. Well done ATN! This level of care, professionalism, and “old fashioned customer service” is rare today: especially with electronics. Thanks ATN for a great product and for employing people like Oliver. He’s fantastic.

For those of you who don't know what an ATN scope is, it is a completely digital scope. These scopes do almost everything but pull the trigger for you. Once set up to your rifle, you can zoom in/out, range find, adjust your zero (if needed), program specific ammo to utilize the ballistic calculator, night vision (not thermal) and even record your shots. All of these options are controlled from the buttons on top of the scope, your cell phone or even a tablet/laptop. Add a "micro-SD" card to store all your info on. Here is where the battery pack really comes in handy, if you start using the ballistic calculator or record all of your shots, the standard batteries won't last long. The battery pack will give you 'up to" 22 hours of life normal use, 8-10 if you are a heavy video recorder. ATN makes models to fit all kinds of shooting needs, check out their site for more info. Charging cable included was not the same as pictured in the product picture and on the box it came in. The included “c” end was a straight one as opposed to the 90 degree one pictured

Very long battery life and easy to transport for a hunt.

This kit comes with a rechargeable battery pack, right angle plug, replacement rubber cap for the scope that is supposed to work with the right angle plug and keep water out, and a case to be fastened to the stock and to place the battery pack in. The good: the battery has a charge status indicator and an on/off switch. The bad: the rubber cap is too thick or you might say the right angle plug is too short. The rubber cap edge pushes the right angle plug out of the connection hole. This means that you will have trouble keeping external power to the scope if you use the rubber cap as intended. The battery case will not work with AR style weapons unless your stock has slots under the cheek-piece. You won't be able to use the charging handle on most ARs if you use this battery case as intended. Also, the battery does not have a solar charging surface as many such batteries do. For the price, this kit should be premium, not basic. It was not money well spent. Make your own kit by combining similar parts and you will do better. The only thing you won't have is the rubber replacement cap but, maybe you can make that too.

Works great on my ATN scope, better than eating up AA lithium batteries. Before I had this I turned my scope on and off to save battery, but that's a pain to wait for boot up when you want to be looking through your scope. Fully charged the battery when it came in, next day had scope running for a solid 4 hours at one point and the battery indicator never dropped (I did not have all accessories in the scope on, just the minimum). Only complaint is the butt stock case/holder for battery is lacking in design and the cheap material it's made from, but I got it attached and it works. Happy with the purchase so far.
