Q: Are they removable parts

not sure what you are asking. These have a screw off top on torch to fill....not a canister removal like basic tikis. You put screw the top onto the pole. I love these! very sturdy and feel they will last a long time.

Q: How do you put the flame out when you are done? Does it just burn out after the 6 hours or can you blow the fame out?

It's a matter of how much liquid you put in. It has been awesome in our backyard. In the end, you just blowhard to put it off and put the cap on top of the flame.

Q: I see where it says to remove the white plastic part, but I can't get it out of the pole??

Do not remove the white plastic part in the pole. It is threaded. There is a bolt that sticks out of the bottom of the canister. It comes with a rubber tube over the threads. Remove the rubber tube and screw the canister and bolt into the white plastic part in the pole.
