I purchased this model for my SO after receiving a different model for xmas from my ex.We have two houses, one with a lot of trade wind off the ocean, and the other high on a mountain with also a lot of heavy breeze.These chimes are the best I've ever owned, bar none. First, they are weighty - so they are not creating a huge amount of noise, even in heavy wind.The tubes are perfectly tuned - and play nice melodies. The wood is extremely sturdy.Once reviewer mentioned that it did not produce noise for him in breeze... it defiantly produces less than many other wind chimes - which I consider a benefit.Very 'zen'.

We received a larger version (36") chimes as a gift remembrance for the passing of my father-in-law. Because the 36" inch is so long and substantial, it takes a lot of wind to make them ring a lot. Also, for the same reasons the tone is really rich and resonant. We were impressed and are enjoying them. For that reason we also got a set for the my mother-in-law as her own remembrance and they were the 24" set. Sound and quality are equally nice and she was very pleased. I am partial to the longer ones if you have a place to hang them but both are lovely. Very reasonably priced for the quality, Shipped as specified with sufficient packing (but not wasteful) so they were perfect when opened.

I love the sound of this wind chime! It's very pretty and rich in tone.

These wind chimes are wonderful, with the bell-like tones and sturdy built that I wanted. Unfortunately they came in the key of D rather than the key Of E that I ordered and the wind tag on the end indicates incorrectly that they are in the Key of B. But the sound is so good, and I didn’t want to disappoint my wife who got them for my birthday (and doesn’t care about such things as how the key fits in with our other wind chimes) that I am going to happily keep them.
