My son is 8 month..is the size of12 to 18 month will be good for him

I found true to size so might be a little big on an 8th month old.

Does the costume run small?

Not in my opinion. I ordered 18-24 months for my son. He was 17 months when he wore it and it fit as I thought it would. It wasnt too big but 12-18 months probably would have been noticeably too small.
