Wifi still working even once I took adapter out!
I have a Hp pavilion g laptop. I'm using windows 7. Bought this little bitty thing because my laptops wifi went out on me a while ago and I'd been using another cheap little adapter since. Just the other day my toddler decided to yank on the thing and broke it. I wasss going to just buy the same one again. But then something made me just see what others were out here. I'm not sure what it means but I had a single and this said dual. It also had higher numbers than others in the search.So for a couple dollars more I decided to go with this.Mannnn I'm so thankful that I did. Speed is faster! The adapter immediately installed it's driver once I plugged it in, and I didn't have to do a thing else!That's all awesome. But what blew my mind was the fact that as of right now, I don't have the adapter plugged in BUT I still have wifi some how!!!!!!Some how that little adapter fixed my computers wifi, this adapter is on the shelf in the closet!I only realized this because this adapter only fit in one usb spot on my laptop, but I'd also went and bought a bluetooth adapter for my new speakers and that bluetooth adapter also only fit in the same spot.I decided to just take the wifi out for a bit so that I could make sure the bluetooth adapter worked, and lo ane beyond, the wifi connection was continuous!Shocked me so I waited a bit, waited a little more.Held off on plugging the bluetooth adapter in because I was afraid to touch my computer at that point lol, I didn't want to mess the magic up lol. This was the same feeling I had when I was 18 , moving into my new place, no cable but I'd the tv set one day to get some static out and wham, free hbo and cinemax lol.Tip toed around the tv for a month not wanting to mess ny good fortune up XDSame feeling here.As of right now, days later I STILL have wifi without a wifi adapter plugged into my usb port. The bluetooth adapter is in that spot now. And my toddler has yanked my power cord out, shut the computer off, and dropped this computer a few times, wifi still strong as ever.Both the folks at HP and at the XvZ usb wifi adapter company should give themselves a raise.Incredible products that last and last!VERY happy with my purchase!
