Trintec 3020-10 10" Aviation Modern Altimeter Instrument Style Wall Clock

I used the VAG Rounded Light font to customize the digital altitude readout to the local elevation just for fun.

This clock is slow. After 24 hours it lost 5 minutes. Replaced battery and it still looses time. Definitely not worth the expense.

Accurate it isn't because I have tried new Energizer and Duracell batteries (measured +1.5V), it just keeps losing about 3 minutes a day.Many years ago I purchased a Trintec combo clock and thermometer, the clock failed shortly after and I replaced the Takane movement with the model that has a red off switch, never gave a problem since.Now TRINTEC if you are listening, for the price charged for what is basically plastic with a printed altimeter face, you need to stop putting in cheap and defective clock movement mechanisms.Aesthetically the product is great but the heart and soul of it has a bad reputation for decades now.Takane the clock movement manufacturer ... you have some serious issues with the model installed in Trintec clocks.

Clock did not keep accurate time. On the down stroke (12-6) it kept good time, but on the up stroke (6-12) it would lose 3 minutes, M.O.L...So, I returned it.........

Bought for my son who is a pilot and he loved it. It's cheap plastic but it looks great on the wall.

This is a piece crap it does not work it is not even made China it is made in Canada, tried few different good charged up Duracell nothing moves completely dead.
