Lightweight and Comfy Traveler Sock with Built-In Bug Repellent (Pack of 2)

I bought these directly from Insect Shield (not through Amazon). But I am wearing them now. They are great! Very comfortable (like wearing nothing). No bug bites yet! Highly recommend.

This has been a great way to protect from chiggers and ticks while working in the woods. Haven’t any of either since I’ve stared wearing them.

My son tried these on and finds them very comfortable. He wears a men's 9 1/2 (9.5) shoe and has an average width foot. We bought size M.My family uses insect shield socks because ticks (and Lyme disease) are a problem where we live. Since the kid's headed off to a four week summer camp with laundry access only at the midpoint, I needed to buy him more socks for a total of 14 pairs. Expensive at full price!I worried the "2 pack" in this title would be the cheater's way of saying a single pair, but we did receive socks packaged two pair on a single plastic sock hanger, so 2 pack is a legit description of what you get with this listing.My teen likes thinner, mid-calf socks. That's what these are. They aren't hiking socks, but more like a dress sock style with the insect repellent treatment. Since my kid hates shorts, these will be ideal. There's enough length to tuck his long trousers into the socks to deter ticks from doing what they love, crawling up a leg in search of a meal.We also bought him some thicker, ankle height ExOfficio BugsAway socks that were on clearance. Those may be better for longer walks/hikes, or on the hottest days, but my son prefers this style slightly for comfort when sitting around.In charcoal grey, these are hard to label for camp. Luckily, there is a bright green stripe at the toe seam. I wrote his name there. The width of this green strip varied quite a bit between the four individual socks in my first order.I will get more of these and return some of the higher priced ExOfficio socks since these cost less and my kid likes them more.

A couple weeks ago, I went out to work in my yard. That evening, I counted and began to scratch my 30 or so chigger bites. I ordered these socks. First time I wore them, I worked in the same area of my yard and did not get even one chigger bite. Second time I wore them, same results. I am amazed and so happy with their effectiveness.

My boyfriend wore this on our hiking trips and it works! He usually gets bitten by mosquitos quite often so we’re happy to see that this helped. The socks are pretty thin and easy to wear. We also have the thicker hiking version but we prefer this thinner one for everyday use

I wear shoes women US size 9, these socks fit me comfortably without being too large or to tight. I use them for hiking and gardening, I’d buy another pair

After the first wash (I followed instructions) they shrunk and lost most of their elasticity.
