October Mountain Products Quick-Shot Finger Saver (1 Set/Pack - Blue)

Once I got this installed on my bowstring, it made all the difference in the world in terms of comfort. Since I was no longer distracted by the discomfort of the taught string, I was able to draw to a consistent point each time and take my time in aiming. Needless to say, accuracy improved immediately.The only reason I did not give this a higher rating is because it was very difficult to install and there were no instructions provided. This made it more difficult than it needed to have been for a beginner like me. I would recommend (to future buyers) that they coat the end of the string on which it is being installed with soap before trying to pull the threaded loop through the rubber finger-savers.

I bought this for the Bear Wizard Jr. Bow to protect our two grandkids' fingers as they practice. I read the reviews and watched several youtube videos and I figured it would be difficult. Maybe there are different ones for different string thicknesses, but I tried everything: first without any pretreatment, then using soap, then boiling the OMP, with pliers, with gloves, with a tapered chrome tube (like a very small funnel where it gets bigger to just barely bigger than the diameter of the looped string). After almost an hour, I gave up. I ended up putting stretchable self-healing silicone tape. Not only is this even cheaper than the POS OMP Finger Saver, it was super easy to install. Took me less than 2 minutes to make an upper and lower Chuckie's Super Finger Saver. And amazingly, it works! And really well. And after a couple hundred arrows, hasn't moved and still working!

Great product. My young son loves these as he doesn't like to wear a shooting glove. It was very difficult to install though, watched some you tube videos but still very difficult to get the tube over the initial loop on string.

Bought these for youth recurve. Prior to this the kids fingers were getting tired after a ltitle bit of shooting. Once I installed these they can shoot forever.Takes some work to get them on. They are so tight I rolled them on (rolling the plastic inside then out all the way down the string). That's OK because the tightness and limited slip means they stay in place when you are shooting.

These are nice additions to a bow string once you figure out how to force them onto the string. That is a seemingly impossible task which eventually yields to nearly endless effort.

Works good once you get it on. I would give it 5 stars but its terribly hard to get on. Boil them first and it makes it a lot easier.

These finger savers went on my bow string easily using the included tool. The soaping up first trick was a big help. The pads help make shooting my bow less painful and more fun. Thanks. I do recommend this product.

Great price and works very good, have a buddy help you out with putting them on as they suck to attach alone

I found them to be very small and not thick enough. My son's Banshee bow came with a superior type.
